Just want to echo the other guys in saying a great big thank you to both Pimp and Plastic for the help with the colour change sets. I said this to biz the other week but it's worth repeating on the forums, I came here at the start of the year for the RotB Kickstarter but I've stayed for the people and sense of community that makes this such an amazing board. I honestly can't think of anywhere else that folks would go out of their way like this to help out strangers an ocean away. Again, thanks guys.

I'd also like to thank pimp nugget and plastic soul for helping me out a couple of months back with some stuff.

I should have checked this board before I bought mine, last night. Well if any one else did need a set I picked up 1 spare.

I think Onell might have been about the same

Onell's set took around a month to sell out, not one day. Also there were only 100 made available from 3DRetro online, not the full 200 due to SDCC.

I thought it was much faster than that.

Nope. I was watching it for a long time, hemming and hawing over my intended purchase because I didn't have the money for it the day they immediately went up. It took something like three or four weeks before the set was finally gone and the regret set in. I was very lucky to grab them later from a friend with two of them.

I remeber getting them the night they dropped and thinking how lucky I was to get'em. :teehee:
It was the first toy drop I'd ever been a part of.

They were also what lead me down the path of collecting Glyos. :wallbash:

i agree, i love the Marvel and the GITD customs, but theres no way in hell i can spend that sort of dollar on these things, unless i had so much money that i could use it to wipe my arse

great incentive, but the price,,,,,, well

The price isn't horrible.
You get s1 and s2 and the customs.
But most peeps have the s1 already.

Some people will pay more for customs that can be tied to an official OMFG release. I think we know monsterforge doesn't charge $150 for a set of customs. 4 of the sets are gone. Looks like somebody switched from the $75 pledge level to $200. As long as people don't change their minds on the high dollar pledges, they need about $2K in 18 days now.

Would someone make a video of them playing with the color changing sets? I'm really curious to see them in action. Post a link. Thanks.

I was more excited when i thought they were color changing plastic/rubber.

Knowing now that they are just painted is not nearly as cool.

What? They're simply painted, not color changing plastic? I can paint any set I want with color changing paint which is widely available. smh

The color changing set from 3D Retro is not painted. The plastic itself changes color based on the temperature. Don't spread disinformation, especially when you don't know what you're talking about.
