I picked some up for my son for bath toys
Be careful. George did say about the 3dRetro sets that the paint was toxic when still wet. It's meant to be safe once cured, but might be best to err on the side of caution.

Thanks for the heads up. maybe not the best bath toy for a 2yr old lol.Be careful. George did say about the 3dRetro sets that the paint was toxic when still wet. It's meant to be safe once cured, but might be best to err on the side of caution.

I think that puts Series 1 up to 15 colors with Metallic Gold, Stealth, Plum, and Blood Red being four that aren't in hand yet. 15 colors and no orange yet. Come on.New toys! Shelflife has a 'blood red edition' of series 1 and series 2 going up for preorder next Monday at midday EST. Apparently there's some kind of chase figures in a 1/10 ratio with these, no other details on those as yet.
I think George made that toxic comment when somebody asked about getting a hold of the color change paint for customizing. I don't think he was saying the sets they sell are toxic. I hope not anyway, because the color mutating Z.O.M.B.I.E. were a bath toy for my 2 yr old. Maybe that's why he is such a freak though. Thanks for the heads up. maybe not the best bath toy for a 2yr old lol.

Yeah, I totally get that, and as I initially said it's supposed to be safe once cured. I work with a lot of chemicals so I tend to take a very 'safety first' approach.Yeah, I would suspect that it's harmful to apply, but not to handle.

If they could produce them in a water-growing material that wasn't so fragile, that would be cool indeed. All the growing toys I had as a kid would get quite crumbly after a few growth/shrinking cycles.Do you think it would be cool to make this figures in the material that grows when water is added?

I agree, I dont want to be the reason my kid ends up having to wear a helmet and ride the short bus cause I let him nom on some OMFG as a kid. I guess they will just be dumped into trade fodder :/Yeah, I totally get that, and as I initially said it's supposed to be safe once cured. James at shelflife has confirmed that the Blood Rage sets are going to be a clear red. Still no details on the 1/10 sets.
