You know, I really liked Samson in Ashuraman's flashbacks, he was the awesome cool "sensei" type guy... So why do they have to turn him into some emotionally disturbed angstmachine when they decided to bring him in?

Heh, Samson Teacher isn't that angsty...he just had issues due to "screwing his way of walking to save his student". He's just a noble Choujin with screwed priorities.

In some ways I think Samson Teacher is supposed to be...well blandish. Most of the more powerful and older-generation Choujin (like him and Kamehame) all seem to be more normal looking than the modern, more outlandish Choujin.

I wonder if Yude thought "screw it, let's just give them both the entire suit" midway through the fight, though.

I think the whole gimmick was just meant to be "Satan Cross has finished it...well never mind, now they both have!" They're the ones who came up with the gimmick anyway, as stupid as it turned out to be in many respects. (but not without it's faults considering that at least the Triangle Dreamer still worked due to it being a double-team attack and the Defend Suit is made for one-on-one.

And most of all: Why would the king of the Devil Chojin give his son some justice-preacher as a teacher...?

There aren't too many multi-armed teachers in the phone book I guess: Ashuraman's dad saw Samson Teacher and went with him without realizing the brainwashing his son would get from him.

Well he's just a parasite. Maybe he probably could have stayed a bit more like that worm the God of Intelligence put into Samson Teacher in the first place but I guess once he does his job he really doesn't mutate further.

Here's the problem: I understand why Ramenman would want to avenger Brocken Jr.: the two of them have a long history together from the "Magnificent Seven" story and are intertwined by story. (even if a lot of it was ignored after the Mister Khamen fight) So of course seeing Prisman pull what he did leading to Brocken's death hit him hard.

But Ashuraman is a different story. Ramenman didn't even appear in the Gold Mask arc until the Akuma Shogun fight, which by then Ashuraman was readded as part of Goldman's armor. The duo interacted little to none in the tag arc for the most part regardless of their own revelations. And even earlier in the arc, Ashuraman joined Soldier and was done his fight by the time Ramenman revealed himself sneaking in as a fake Bikeman. Heck...they didn't even talk personally prior to Ashuraman stopped the water flow in the labyrinth!

But now, just because Ashuraman died (by his own volition in a trap most likely set up by Phoenix) and Prisman decides to blow up his outfit...that's all the motivation Ramenman needs to take revenge on him like he wanted with Brocken?

Yeah...makes just as much sense as all the other wacko stuff in this series.
