Yes, octowrestler is a cool one for sure.

One thing to keep in mind is that not everyone is a great artist. However, their idea may still be a good one, even if the sketch isn't amazing. (Furthermore, many of the great 2d artists are not necessarily good sculptors.) So, someone could have an awesome idea but mediocre sketch, but the idea in the hands of a the right sculptor could end up being awesome.

awesome + mediocre = awesome

:)

Haven't been on here for AGES - dayjob, small apartment, and wrestling have made toymaking almost impossible for a while. Just noticed these - so awesome. I pledged for my pack. I hope you guys make it!

Don't say that.

Why am I not allowed to say that? I don't know who will end up with all of the other sets, how much they'll charge, how difficult they will be to obtain... all sorts of factors that I don't know beyond what little information is already public. It's not as if I haven't done my part to support the project or the figures, and even though green beat light purple, I'll end up with an LRG set too.

I am working on an original sculpt right now. I love kitbashing figures but something original seems the way to go on these.

Can't wait to see it. I don't think anyone has entered a sculpt yet. I'd imagine plenty of guys are well at work on their own right now. I bet the real contenders will start popping up within a month.

Is that actual wax? If so I'd say take a liter and roll the flame around his body to smooth out any edges and give him some meltyness. But if you mess it up, it's not my fault. :D

Thanks man,
I'm looking some comments on OMFG! Forum and seems they're not so satisfied with this figure... They are talking about any problems could happen with his neck (Rope between wax and flame) during production casting... I think it has no problems cause the neck is renforced by a needle insert inside.. but anyway.
Thanks for your support!!!

No man,
it is not wax but is a different material called Cernit. This kind of "clay" become hard with hot temperature so you can model it and then cook when the form and design match what you want and you need...
Unfortunately I cannot modify it yet

But the final product wouldn't have the needle. So if you had a PVC version of this figure it's possible that there would be issues of quality control where the head would either not fill out properly or the neck breaking. That's what they were talking about I think.

Just connect the bottom of flame to the body. That would fix it, me thinks.
