Thanks man!

My " Dead Ted / Jay Decay " custom just arrived from the UK. This thing is sweet, Jay Decay has always been one of my favorite GPK cards.

Again, I'm not a MUSCLE/Kinkeshi collector, but I absolutely love that custom. So creative and well made.

It really makes me wish the BB community would be a little more active in production of non-commissioned customs and off-color repros.

Thanks for the comments guys!

So if it isn't incredibly obvious, I'm really into GPK cheap toys. The 2nd series was a very limited release and locating them now isn't easy. I'm stoked to add another color of Catty Kathy to my collection.

This is the hollow, molded vinyl, water squirting version from 1986. These were a bit larger than their solid, non-water squirting counterparts. Also, the sculpt and paint applications are slightly different with these. For example, with this version of Slobulus they've painted over two of his facial bumps and the original bug in his hair, to create the effect of three lime green, spotted bugs crawling on him. Also, The puckered ears, the eyes and eye socket are more pronounced, giving a grotesque, "eye popping" effect that is visually superior to it's smaller foam cousin.

Nice! I never heard of them being made in rubber material. All the ones I came across were foam. The rubber looks way better too.

Yeah, the hard rubber versions were the first to be released but were quickly discontinued due to kids getting hurt by them. Most of the original Madballs ( most of series 1 and all of series 2 ) were made in the safer "nerf like" material.

I really dig the Glyos line and now with Armorvors added to the menu I'm after something every "drop".

To give credit where credit is due..I first saw the idea of changing the shoulders out and using them as thighs from a picture posted by member "bigburty".

From there I decided to add to the build by adding Glyos axis joints for better arm articulation, a spacer to make the figure taller, and I made a matching black belt. The Octopus head and tentacles are glow in the dark resin casts by TGB.

The Kung-Fu Octovor!

That's just awesome.

I had three or maybe four of that color made just for me and you got one for being the most diligent critter collector ever and one is going to whoever wins the photo contest tonight.
