I know i was just saying that before others joined in on a pointless arguement.

And rask i am happy for you that youre getting the most out of your sr. Im just with allsport i dont get why people tip off sellers. But like i said im just on one side of the fence on this one alot of people feel the opposite and i totally understand why.

Some people get warm and fuzzy inside from tipping of sellers of a rare item they have. Even though they have no intention of making the purchase. This type of crap pisses me off as well. SR's might not fetch over $1000-$2000 if people would keep to themselves.

I think some people get off knowing they made a fellow collector pay ridiculous amounts for a toy. Although I can see the point that If I were the seller I would appreciate the tip off. But from a collectors viewpoint, why tip off a seller with no intentions to purchase knowing it will effect pricing for SR's? If we were not setting the standard of $2k per SR we would be getting them cheaper.

I know I will never have one at the current rate they are demanding.

Only reasonable explanation is to make sure the auction run its course. Allowing an auction to run its course makes sure everybody has a chance at the auction.

I don't have anything against someone getting something cheap, but I also have nothing against someone educating sellers to make sure an auction doesn't end early.

I don't know I can only speculate. But I'm pretty sure you would be worried someone else would come in and buy it out right. An offer of say.... 500$ would get alot of people to just sell it. Alex was very nice to communicate with. I asked him alot of questions and he gave me honest answers. We talked alot about when where how much and everything. He was not upset. Very nice guy. Imo.'

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the offers you received were less than what it sold for.
