Basically everything you said in the above post is what I consider the train wreck. This arc is already fourteen volumes in length (but to be fair, the original Kinnikuman release had alot more volumes in certain arcs), it seems to drag on and on, and where the hell is Kevin Mask? It seems that they only put him in the same matches Robin fought, and considering what happened to him...
Oh well, what can you do? Yude takes it where it wants to go, and for that there is not much you can do about it.
I guess this was always meant to be a major arc hence why it's dragging out for so long. And Kevin Mask just seems to be dragged around with the Time Chojin duo, so whenever they appear, he'll be with them. So far, Thunder & Lightning have just basically being using Kevin Mask to torment Robin Mask, but now, who knows what they'll be using him for? (Since Robin Mask is presumably currently recuperating in hospital now.) Btw, how badly injured was Robin Mask after his match with the Five Disasters duo anyway? His life's not in danger now is it? Coz if it is, Kevin's in 'double jeopardy' now with both his parents' lives on the line!
Oh well, guess we can only hope for a satisfactorily big ending to this forever-extending arc at some point.
In case anyone hasn't checked it out yet, here's a preview for this week's Nisei manga installment:
Nisei manga 07 Oct '08You'll have to click on the Weekly Playboy link on the left and when that opens, click on the Kinnikuman Nisei link. Seems like Wally's momentarily distracted from blood-sucking Mammothman as the angry fan continues to beat up a helpless 'Roberto Tusket'(?).
