Despite the quantity of stuff I've gotten through the mail over the past few months I haven't posted in this thread before, but this little bundle of joy arrived from Japan this morning and I just couldn't resist sharing. Here we have a complete Laserbeast vs Battle Beasts set including cards and weapons. Unfortunately the seller no longer had the paperwork or packaging, but hopefully I can find someone with one to part with so I can complete the set.

I was happy to see that the figures are all in excellent condition, and the gold drill and cards are all dead mint. Honestly, it was more than I ever saw myself spending on toys if you'd asked me a year ago, but overall I think I got a fair price on the lot, considering what I've seen some of the pieces go for individually.

Since I have a set of reproduction lasers, the Salmomanther, Skull Grotess, and King Buster weapons are all up for trade for other LB items I am still missing. I'll likely post in the 'Got Toys' thread regarding the availability of those and other lasers I have available.

Thanks everyone we are having a blast with them. A few months ago I made some ramps out of boxes and some duct tape so usually there is a lot of crazy happening in our small house.

So they didn't arrive via the post, but I was delighted to have picked these guys up today in Times Square. Thanks to my eagle-eyed wife for the full set of series 3 SLUGs. She found the only 12 pack left in the store, dumped face down on a post near the Jurassic Park display, plus the 3 packs were discovered shoved up the corner next to Regular Show mini figures. I didn't want anymore SLUGs after my series 1 set, but it was almost like it was meant to be On a side-note, the Toys R Us staff sucked and didn't seem to know what toys they had and where they were supposed to be stocked! I also had trouble resisting the purchase of the Marvel Select figures from the comic store The Hulk is a beast of a figure!

These two guys came in today! The hound has been fine, but Tracker's mask tusks came broken in the package, so I've had to do some regluing.

Note: All spindly spiky things should either be flexible, or removable. brittle is bad when the box doesn't protect it.
