Stopped into Rotofugi today to pick up a blue set. I haven't opened them yet, but I was kind of surprised how much cooler this particular set looks to me in person. The knight looks even better than I expected (and it was always my favorite of the 5), and I was always lukewarm on Shirtle, but I am really liking him in person--he looks really cool in the 312 blue.

Got my box of LRG sets & posters today. Didn't get a chance at lunch to get into them, but they look really cool. I mainly want to check out the plum sets.

I hope Rotofugi does the translucent blue again. That was one of my favorite S1 colors. The solid blue is one I've decided to pass on.

Got my tracking on my kickstarter sets today and got charged for my S2 gold so that should be on the way soon too. I'm guessing the ShelfLife, Tenacious Toys, and Ice sets should ship soon too.

If you got your plum series 1 sets, you get a sneak peak of an upcoming color. The headers are double sided, same as last year, and there is another vendor's color on the back of the Series 1 Plum headers.

Ha, that's awesome. I didn't notice Melvin the Mop Boy on one of the cards when I looked at them earlier. I think I can guess the color based on the Z.O.M.B.I.E. line.

Yep! I have both series side by side and they look pretty much identical to me. If there's any difference I can't detect it.

As for the neon green, from the photos that have been posted I definitely think I am going to prefer the S2 green to the S1 green. The new green has that very slightly translucent look to it which I love. It's a good change, in my opinion!

It's neat that both Rotofugi sets match closely if not exactly, but if I were ordering them the S2 green being different would actually bug me a little. I accepted it since they were vintage and all, but the MUSCLE neon green being more translucent than some other colors was something I did not love about them. The solid OMFG S1 green works just fine with me.

Come to think of it, the orange AP2 figures have a similar slight translucent look to them too.

I noticed that too, and I think that's why I like the orange so much.

I didn't think about it until your post, but the new green does seem to resemble MUSCLE green (maybe a bit darker--hard to say as I don't have the green ones in hand yet). That MUSCLE green is one of my favorite mini figure colors ever, so I guess that's why the new OMFG green looks so cool to me.

It will be interesting to hear if there are any other variations in color from S1 to S2. Either way, this time I am going to try to just stick to a few colors for the sets, then will probably go for the AP Puke Knights and maybe an orange Grimm Gourd when/if that comes out.
