Aw man, wally died? He was one of the more likeable Nisei Chojins. Looks like I'll have to root for Warsman, despite Neptuneman and Mammothman having the best Tag Team ever...

Aww so much for Mammothman's fangirls. ;)

I bet warsman's fangirls will be rooting for whoever next faces Neptuneman and Mammothman next. :p

Im still hoping for Muscle Brothers Nova and machineguns to both get to fight a villain group each and to face each other in the finals. And i think it's quite likely. And i still think Thunder & Lightning being Neptuneman and mammothman seems sort of feasable. They have the same builds afterall. Though i enjoy my NEptune King/Omega Man teamup as Thunder & Lightning. A man can dream... a man can dream.. ;)

Warsman can never get a break. The poor guy is always getting the shaft. He has put in a really valiant effort into this fight, but in the back of my mind I always knew that he just wouldn't be able to triumph over the mighty Neptuneman. Neptuneman is just in a different league in comparison to Warsman. In any case, I personally love the collaboration between Neptuneman and Mammothman. Neptuneman has really exhibited himself as quite the cunning, devious villain.

The tag technique is called "Jigoku no Hyouketsu Otoshi" ("Hell's Freeze Drop", "Hellish Frozen Fall"), and Mammothman's line in the bottom-left panel is "Sekkaku jibun no ikirumichi wo kimetanda!" (~ "Regardless, I have chosen my own way/path of life!")

BTW, one of the most oddly hilarious lines I have ever read on Wikipedia is "The instant he enters the ring he is killed by Mammothman's Nose Fencing."
Spoiler
. I hope Mammothman will have the opportunity to perform it at least once in this arc... :p

I knew Warsy was gonna lose, but damn he's going down quickly against this new team. I expected him to survive at least a little bit longer.

Warsman needs at least a few more pages of suffering before he goes out with a bang.

At least, according to my Yude stardards, every heroic battle/massive arse failure needs a painful loss scene. Every character watching cries like a preteen schoolgirl who just got dumped by her uncaring boyfriend, us fans b*tch and the whole cycle starts again. Mantaro/Chaos/Kinnikuman/Terryman not applied... OR WILL IT BE???

I seriously see this arc having an ending more disappointing then the Demon Seed arc. Prove me wrong, Yude!

Why does the Demon Seed arc have a disapointing ending? :unknw:

So just finished watching all...and I mean all of the first chojin tag tournament and in the original, Yude had the final two matches as Muscle Bros. vs 2000 powers and Akuma tag vs. Perfect Chojin...up until the point that harabote changes this with the random setup with the chains... Not sure what to make of what will happen in this tag tournament but if Yude does a repeat harabote will switch up the matches and my prediction is Machineguns vs. Five Disasters and MBN vs. New Hell Expansioners...

My reasoning is that the final matchup has to involve the main characters ie Mantaro....and New Villians FD....main plot was to save Kevin Mask and I think Yude will stay true to that...And if you notice the only faces that Neptuneman has taken are the new generation tag so I believe that to make for an great emotional battle of mantaro avenging his fallen comrades before saving Kevin instead of Mantaro overcoming his father and Terry....I do see the worfing effect being a problem with FD but I think Terry will be the victim instead of Kinnikuman... Of course this is all just predictions...I would like to see FD take on NHE...

i hope they'll make the final match a Fatal 4 Way!!
this way we can see the Kininiku father and son teaming up
but doesn't leave out Chaos, which is suppose to be this arc's main key

If I were writing, I'd just dump the time Chojin, Neptune/Mammothman, the Muscle Brothers Nouveau, and the Machineguns into an arena together and have a free for all. That would be awesome.

Well, Warsman IS 60 years old.. and against an older Neptuneman AND a younger Mammothman?.. That's kinda unfair. I don't get why Harabote's allowing it when Warsman doesn't have another partner.

Early update this week:

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Posted Image Posted Image

From crappy goggle translation I have decuded that Harabote is allowing the Neptuneman/Mammothman teamup on account of because, in the original tag tournament, Terryman and Kin went through and beat the thing even though Terry started off on a different tag team. ffffffttttt

It looks like they're going for a tag move in that last picture. Crappy translation says it's called "Hell's Freeze Trap"?

i cant wait to see waths happen to warsman

If we're lucky, this is hopefully just a secret, elaborate plan by Mammothman to get Neptuneman to lower his guard. Highly unlikely, but I believe it's already stated that a man can dream. The position the three of them are in now, with Neptuneman between Mammothman and Warsman makes it possible they're going to slam him into the mat or something and then do a Ghost Canvas.

So what's the reason behind Mammothman siding with Neptuneman anyways? Anyone make heads or tails of that plot twist yet?

That does it. Reported.

Also, tbh, nobody should be amd at neptuneman. Death is the penalty for failure among the Perfect Chojin's. Neptuneman killed himself when he lost for god's sake. This is exactly what Wally signed up for.

Due to the fact that I hate Harabote? I seriously find him to be a plot dragging tool, he's that useless, including his equally worthless son. I also think you have to take a breather, because someone is allowed to use sarcasm. I was being sarcastic/honest in that post.

I await your punishment, Mods.

And that would be my cue. I went ahead and cleaned up this thread since it was a bit of a mess and veering off-topic at times. It is tough to say when legitimate critical commentary ends and outright trolling begins. However, I will say that simple negative one-liners are closer to the category of trolling rather than legitimate critical commentary. At this point, I will just keep an eye on things.

A certain Nintendo forum on go to has alot of sarcastic one liners, but it doesn't turn into trolling. Sarcasm and trolling are two completely different things. I was being sarcastic, not a troll.

Without being able to see the entire chapter, and not being able to understand Japanese, there is no way we can understand this plot twist unless we have someone who has read the full chapter/understands Japanese.

And I must ask... where the hell did the female cast go?

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.
