Did these UofM yellow ever come out?

I believe a limited amount of yellow Baby Deadbeets were sold at a toy convention or something, but the general release will be sometime in the future via the October Toys website.

Yeah, the first 30 or so yellow 'Beets were packed in with the clear yellow release of the vinyl 'Beet, rest of the run should be part of the 2 per month release schedule at OT.

Our store always has a big sale in March. This year, among other things, we have our exclusive gold OMFG Series 3 for $4, and Series 2 for $5, or both series together for $8. :)

Wish they'd bump it up to 10 figures per series but not at a $30K KS goal...

Seems to be true.  My ebay sells used to be pretty steady.  I haven't had a hit on these guys for months now.

I think it's color overload and too much time in-between each series.

Has there been an update on the progress of Series 4? The last I heard was when they were trying to work through complications with some of the sculpts.

Honest to god truth right here. The man is such an incredible douche that it has made me not want the series.

I do own a set of series 1, but part of me loathes it while I love them because of him.

I also think that aside from him, the insane amount of "colourways" did it in, especially for completionists.

Seems to be true.  My ebay sells used to be pretty steady.  I haven't had a hit on these guys for months now.

I saw an Onell Blue series 1 auction end for around $15 shipped not too long ago. That sold for around $70 a few times when the number of colors was still under 10. It was the set that was missed by anyone that discovered OMFG a little late. There might still be a few completionists out there, but not enough for it to be easy money for exclusive color buyers or for the aftermarket on any sold out color to be more than $20 shipped at this point, even for series 1.

Looks like series 2 was the best series for an artist to get a figure made. Those guys got their figures in over 20 colors. That won't happen again.

I think it's color overload and too much time in-between each series.

Has there been an update on the progress of Series 4? The last I heard was when they were trying to work through complications with some of the sculpts.

I agree they lose momentum with the time between the vote and the Kickstarter. For some reason they don't like posting progress pics of the sculpts. They don't really share the process between the vote and the KS at all. I think it would help to show something to keep people interested. We won't see a sculpt of Fossil Freak until the KS begins. I don't understand why. Series 3 was a few months of nothing between the vote and the KS. Series 4 has been worse and will also hold up any progress on series 5 because the voting on that won't even start until after the S4 KS.

Still, it's an affordable line of PVC minifigures. I like most of the S4 winners a lot and there are some great designs submitted for S5. I'll probably always be in for flesh, black, GITD, and the pinks of the individual figures that I like, but I don't need much more than that.

The only sculpt I kept is King Castor, of which I have ever color released.  The rest I sold/sell/trade away.

I apologize in advance if this has been addressed elsewhere but I'm new to the forum and still learning to navigate the waters. I'm very interested in purchasing O.M.F.G figures; are they sold retail or even at comic/hobby shops or are they solely distributed by online sellers?

You might find them in comic shops, the retail shops I've ever seen them in are in independent toy specialty shops, myself.
