I updated the visual checklist, and added the new ones on below!




EDIT: #30 might indeed be a turtle, as someone on here mentioned above. I thought it was the Manta Ray, as he appears in the manga, but I'm not so sure anymore, as he has a different hat on.

In my opinion :
11 the parrot will be green, as seen behind the elephant on the website
22 could be a mole
29 a fox
30 i was thinking of an axolotl,or a turtle
41 could be a wolf
42 a fish of the abyss
44 a rabbit or hare


for me we could add 3 more beasts

45 a rhino ? (with the 22 behind him)
46 a bear ?
47 ????

Yep, I reckon you are right about the parrot (#11) being green! I noticed some of the colors of various figures changed from the prototypes too, so maybe there are multiple varieties, or just simply more final versions. If there are multiple colors, it might add to the 100 to collect part, but then also, we are up to about 50 so far, so 50 more unique sculpts might not be that far-fetched after all!

I think the reason I automatically though 41 was a boar, is cause I saw a spiny-boar character a while ago, from some other franchise (I think an enemy from the SEGA WonderBoy in MonsterWorld games?) that looked just like that, so I filled in the blanks and jumped to a conclusion, but without seeing it's face, I guess we got no idea what it could be!

Also 42 and 06 iniially looked like a repaint to me...but there are subtle differences that lead me to think they are different figures. Nostrils and helmet etc, but if anyone thiks they are likely the same, let me know!

The one you suggested for 45 (a rhino?) looks like it might be the alligator (10) unless there is another in that pic?

and 47 might be the tiger (18) based on the fact that his right shoulder seems bulkier, with his armor.

but number 46 might be new!

This is like a detective game!

Zariganian you're totally right for the 45 and 47, they are the alligator and the tiger ! i don't know why i was thinking it was a rhino, i was thinking to see little ears that make him looking like a rhino to me, but definitly it's the Gator !!

Man, between this and the new commercial, this line just keeps getting better and better. I wouldn't put it past them to make 100 figures, which would put us in line with the original BB line. The new frog and turtle are really catching my eye. But why no lizard or snake yet? There needs to be more reptiles. haha.

My opinions on some of the figures:
29. To me this does look like a fox.
30. I think he's a sea turtle, with a little Captain's hat.
26. Raccoon maybe
41. We still need to see more of this figure, but with those spikes, I would lean towards a porcupine right now.

for sure 26 is not a raccoon but a red panda ! i've once seen a "panda roux" (french name) in a zoo, it's exactly that !

Tokyo Toy Show which is the japanese Toy Fair has opened yesterday in Japan. I have been looking for pic of the Beast Saga display all the day (not really true as I had some work to do too) but can't find any. It seems that photo were not allowed. We will maybe be luckier tomorrow as the first 2 days are dealer only and public will be accepted on saturday and sunday. There is some possibilities that the display will be different during this last 2 days and that some secret figures will have vanished.

Wow Lord are you out there yourselve at the moment or just hoping for pics to show up on the internet?
Its at the Tokyo Big Sight and I'm sure that amongst the 35,000 products by 144 toy manufacturers there has to be some figs of the Beast Saga line or at least pics of them available at the Takara Tomy booth. I always love these toy/game shows in Tokyo as they are huge and they're always months ahead of the rest of the world with info about new releases. But its pretty crowdy and there'll be huge rows for waiting........

I used my detective skills and managed to find this one image -



It was from a Transformers site, so obviously they were mostly photos of the new Transformers...but you can see a bit of the display here...(on the right) It looks like all transformers stuff on the left of the photo...

EDIT: It looks like the poster/wall-scroll nearest to the camera might be a huge visual checklist of some kind, with images of all the figures displayed!
