Looks like we have ourselves a good old fashioned football game on tonite.

Your team looks great right out the gates.I am in awe at how they are playing.

Brady sacked again.

Even if the Eagles eventually lose the game, at least it has been entertaining, unlike some other Pats games.

but it was a touch down in my book -- and the refs.
Was it???

Patriots Edge Eagles
This was a game in which A.J. Feeley, a career backup replacing the injured Donovan McNabb at quarterback for the Eagles, outplayed Tom Brady for most of the game.
And one in which Philadelphia cornerback Lito Sheppard turned Randy Moss, moving in on Jerry Rice's single-season mark for touchdown receptions, into nothing more than ordinary.

You can just read the hatred of the Pats between the lines.
At least I do...

Well the Dolphins couldn't help your jinx, Asator!
3-0 Steelers Nation had to be worried during that game. Why were the Dolphins allowed another play with 2 seconds left? I thought there was a 10 second run off if the offense gets a penalty under 10 seconds.
I thought for sure it would go into overtime. Which again, is kind of sad. A loss to the Jets and a 3 point win over the Dolphins? That's pathetic. The Stillers are better than that. But then again, thats been our M.O. all year, being beat by teams that we are better than. The Cardinals, the Broncos, the Jets... Bad teams that kicked our butts. Thanks to Jeff Reed for the win tonight.

We also kept our heads above the Browns who are hot on our heels this year. Who'd have thought, eh?
I've also vowed this year to do something that I have always contemplated doing... and it actually looks like I might end up having to do it. I told all my friends at the beginning of the season that if the Steelers won 10 or more games this year, that I would get the Steelers logo tattooed on the right side of my head just like the helmets. When it happens, I'll be sure to post some pics.

Jeez that sounds more like a bet you would make if they won the Super Bowl. You should go for the whole shebang and get a stripe on top of your head and a tattoo of a face mask.
That was actually the plan 2 years ago. I said if they won I would do it. They won the Super Bowl and I was gonna get the tattoo then but I ended up getting a big job interview the week after the Super Bowl and I didnt want to risk not getting the job cuz of it. Then I just kept putting it off. Now I have a job where it doesnt matter how wierd I look. Last year, I had dyed my mohawk blonde and had someone use a marker to draw the logo on my head for a tailgate party. It looked awesome.

Is that a Finntroll hat? Polka metal is the best!
Yes, it is in fact a Finntroll hat and yes, folk metal rules. Vreth gave it to me when I saw them in Cleveland in October. I got to meet the band and drink Finnish vodka with them on their bus. It rocked. What's cool is that in meeting Finntroll, I also met Henri "Trollhorn" Sorvali, who is not only Finntroll's keyboardist, but is also the co-founder of Moonsorrow and was the session keyboardist on the self titled Ensiferum album.
Next friday I'm off to see Amon Amarth and hopefully meet them as well.

(1) Have a QB who hurts the team more than helps
(2) A coach who calls plays based on preference, not based on what's happening in the game
(3) Uninspired, lackadaisical play, especially on the offensive side of the ball
(4) Poor game management when down by one possession, with the ball in scoring position, with under 4 minutes in the game
(5) A surplus of turnovers and a deficit in takeaways
(6) Inconsistent play in general from week to week
It's time to shake things up in Philly. I love Andy Reid, but he has shown a failure to learn from his mistakes week after week.

I feel for you Bro!!!!
This is the same crap we went through as Fans when Pete Carroll was our coach and Brew Bledsoe was our QB.

The best day of my life as a fan,was when I was @ Foxboro Stadium watching the Dolphins give us a beating until
Bledsoe hurts his finger and the rest is history.
They need to start with your QB but for some reason I don't think they want to.

Ya, a real nail bitter...Ravens coaches blew it w/ that time out! How about that last pass? That would have been crazy if it was 2-3 yards deeper...just enough for him to catch it and fall backwards across the plane!
Yup, undefeated!!!

I am no Patriots fan, but, I love to see any team play well all season! Looks like they will most likely win yet another Super Bowl!

I'll tell you Bro,The real reason I want the Patriots to win a Superbowl this year is because my son was born this year.
The RedSox gave him a World Series and it would be cool for the Patriots to give him a Superbowl......only time will tell.

Sounds like you just want an excuse to watch more sports! That is sick man...using your son for your habit!

All us fathers have been there...in fact, I took my oldest son out a couple of weekends ago huntin' w/ my father and I. He shot his first gun 2 times that day!!! The same antique 410 from 1910 that I 1st shot as a kid!!! He loved it!!! Now I have a future huntin' buddy to keep my sport alive!!!
