This part shows Meat's profile too, the problem is that his name stated there is not real. Maybe their hiding his real name. Weird though, in the Throne Arc his called by his real name.

Well unfortunately not too many people want to read them old-fangled manga that inspired their super-powered ninja and Shinigami...well OK, Bo-bobo is more inspired by Kinnikuman but it's still a classic.

Although most manga authors cite Dragon Ball as their biggest influence, the author of the super-powered ninja one has said on a few occasions that Kinnikuman was one of his biggest influences. Everything from the gimmicky powers to the jovial humor to the main character (and his DEM power) feel like they were borrowed from Kinnikuman.

If you don't want it to look like TW, just change the way the chapters are listed (it would only look like a rip-off because we "borrowed" the layout of their download pages). Maybe divide the chapters based on the arc instead of volumes, for one thing. Look around at different scanlation team's websites to get some idea of how to fix the chapter listings.

One they look different, you can use a sidebar layout without looking like TW.

Speaking of which, I'm very, very sorry for trying to adapt the riddles into English. Some of them were kind of hard to equate into English. (but the notes explaining the puns would have taken up half the page)

The main reason I did two chapters today was simple: the end of the Rakka arc was just too easy...and sort of stupid. But with these two, the gap is fully closed! Everything from the beginning to the end of Buffaloman is now complete! And that means the next translation I release...will involve two certain masks.

Looking at some other sites. I think I'll keep the top bar and the way the chapters are set up for now... but maybe do something like this. (Obvious the pic is a lot smaller than what size I'll actually make the layout. XD) I'm just wondering what colors/color scheme I should use.

I actually did a draft that kept the last joke intact, since I was having a hard time coming up with an English equivalent. The long translation note kind of broke up the flow of the "Kinnikman makes a wrong answer and everything goes to hell" last page, so I ended up replacing it with the only purely-phonic palindrome I could think of at the time. (while searching for a better one on Google, I also discovered "Kinnikinnik" is the longest palindromic word in the English language, which greatly amused me)

Chapter 86: I get that it's a Seven Samurai parody, and Kinnikuman is supposed to be Kikuchiyo, but Terryman and Ramenman suddenly hating him for no reason seems a bit odd, considering they love the guy just a few chapters ago...

Okay, I just re-read the Warsman arc, so now I can move on to editing the last chapter. Knuxie, be very careful that you fix the numbering and add a placeholder for that chapter in volume 9 before you upload these chapters, or OneManga will use the numbers currently listed on that site.

I did the extra page mostly because I've been in groups that want not just the chapter but everything else translated too. When I start the Golden Mask next week (hopefully Tuesday but I promised a friend I'd do this week's Gintama since his computer blew up), I will be probably translating those pages too. (I don't know yet if TW did them since the last I read was the Black Hole fight but I assume they did since they did stuff such as the Choujin profiles during the 2nd Choujin Olympics) We really don't need to scanslate them but if you want to do full volume releases, it would be advisable to have those too.

Probably cause they didn't know at the time. Remember: there are some things that are always changing or never get figured out at one point in a manga's run that can be revealed much later on or realized much later on. Just because we don't know who Meat is at this point doesn't mean that Yudetamago couldn't change it later.

Of course, I'll try to keep the names as is with this arc, particularly with Beatlebo...er, Geronimo. My only real concern for the moment: TW used Rikishiman (the anime name for the sumo wrestler) but I sort of want to use Wolfman (the original)...any particular comments?

I've actually noticed TW used a lot of lines that were changed in the anime for their script. (for example, they say Kinnikuman's bet with Robin Mask was Gyuudon with Miso Soup, rather than a pickle) To this day, I'm baffled how that could have happened.

Go ahead and use Wolfman.

TheOrgg insisted on it back when he was doing to scans in volume 2, so I kept doing it for the sake of consistency. Then, about 7 chapters before his last appearance, Knuxie started using "Kinkotsuman" again, so I kept using it.
