So is Punisher out yet, and what's he look like? (or am I confusing the Marvel and DC again?)

There are two Punishers out already. The first one had white boots, white gloves, and was hydrocephalic. Then they made a new one with black boots and gloves and a more human-sized head. It's a pretty good looking figure, but the base body used is not as articulated as most of the others in the line.

Just so folks know, I found another Red Hulk today! I'm tempted to release my army on the world to destroy all who oppose me!

I'd like to get that set, but mostly because i want a Red Skull. And i want an OPEN Red Skull, that i can put with my other stuff. Wonder what the odds are of him coming out on his own? Probably pretty high since he's all unique parts, right?

Actually, you've been duped by Hasbro. Red Skull isn't made of unique body parts - he's an Indiana Jones figure! Vogel, to be more specific. Only the head is new. Considering how fans have complained about that body reusage, I don't think he'll ever be released individually. I'm sure we'll get another Red Skull in the future though, maybe that coatless version with a green shirt I've seen around before.

And yeah, we answered theorgg's question before in one of the review threads. How odd.

Yeah, I'm actually kind of sad that they chose Redskull for the box set. He is not only shorter than everyone else, but he isn't an Invader....he is an Invader Nemisis...And there were so many other Invaders they could have chose instead of him. Spitfire, Whizzer, Miss America, Toro.....I think Spitfire would have been best for it. I hope they make her too eventually. I can understand why Toro wouldn't have been used. Miss America and Whizzer are pretty dated in appearance as well. But Spitfire was a cool looking character. Heck they could have really just repainted Firestar and added a cape and dropped her in there. ....Or just put Firstar in there...but that would have been stupid, but I believe she was an Invader for a while too.

Na, I had placed my Invaders order before I even checked the board yesterday, so I wouldn't blame you.

I just wish that 25% off holiday one hadn't expired.

But the total for the Invaders didn't bug me at all...what was that like $10 bucks and some change extra so as not to spend hundreds to get to the con and wait in lines for hours and hours? Great trade in my book. But I immediately thought of finding a code when I went to checkout with Cap. He was $18 and some change shipped! Almost double his list price. So at least I saved a buck on that deal. Just wish I could have gotten both together, and with the code, I could have saved probably $10 bucks or more on everything.

So i can definitely recommend Impulse Creations as a good site to buy from. Ordered Iron Man and Silver Surfer from them on Sunday, they showed up today. That was wayyy faster than expected. Both figures are in great shape and at $7.19 each (tax included!) were cheaper than retail.

i have a feeling that i won't be able to stop at just two (hint hint, urs, hint). he's just too damn cool. now that i've seen him up close and personal, yes we made out, i may have to start an army of red hulks. i've never been an army builder. there's no point in doing so with red hulk. i just want to.

I'd like to, but it feels like those things are priced just out of my range to do so. And, you know, none of my TRU stores have them yet.

By the way i hit up two Targets and two Wal-Marts tonight after news of toy resets for both chains. Only one of each had actually reset. The Target had shelf tags for Secret Wars and double the pegs for the single packs, but with nothing new in stock whatsoever. I did see a disturbing sixteen or so pegs for Toy Story figures though.

The one Wal-Mart that had shifted some toys around, the one that they JUST built like two months ago, still doesn't even have space or pegs for Marvel Universe. Not the Secret Wars stuff, not the single packs, nothing. I live in the worst city ever for toy shopping.

hmmmm.. so they had three hand ninjas and a ronin still. of course, they also had a red hulk, a green hulk, two 001 iron mans, a hobgoblin, a couple of the good punishers & a green goblin & a couple others of the not lame figures. i picked up the red and green hulks, 001 iron man and the hobgoblin. was hoping to see some grey hulks, but i guess they were just stocking wave 5 for now.

now that i've had a chance to see hobgoblin up close and personal he's fast becoming one of my faves. the paint apps on this one are perfect. they look like they were meant to be on a figure they would display for sales purposes at a trade show or in a marketing meeting. i had originally picked him up in case someone needed him, but i do love him so. i don't know what to do now.

i'm hitting another target tomorrow. may pick up a green goblin this time and hopefully any more rulks i run across. anyone looking for something special, other than grey hulks?

Peeps are still running across the 3 packs, and a few have reported picking up some SW 2 packs as well. Toys'R'Us has had the 2 packs on preorder for a while, and they just listed 2 of the 3 packs, but they have no information other than "exclusive 3.75 packs" So I guess they are still updating that info. I'm more than likely going to just buy them from TRU.com so I don't have to risk the hunt...we will see. They are listed as $22.99, and someone said they found the DD, IM, and SS 3 pack, but it was $29.99.. Not sure why.

Jeez Dan, you still want that Red Hulk I have? Your getting even greedier than me!

oh, almost forgot. they had their origins on clearance for less than $2. can't remember the exact price, maybe $1.98 or $1.89. something like that. they only had logan and logan comic version. both had bone claws. hopefully they're getting rid of all these damn things so they'll have more room for universe. fingers crossed.

urs: i still would like that red hulk. both of the ones i have currently are the matte version. still searching for a glossy.

EDIT: i keep forgetting to mention that my green hulk i got today is not normal. the paint job they did on him is horrible. his face got way too much wash. it's almost like he's been bobbing for apples in crude oil. i'll have to snap a pic so you all can see.

No luck here in Boise at the TRU on anything new, just series 3 and figuress, I had to buy a Punisher figure to feed my addiction. I'ma be upset if to many reports of DD/IM/SS 3 packs start rolling in before we even get Spider-man and his amazing friends out. Hopefully they are just waiting for August to restock them.

Edit: dankingery, if you happen to find a Maverick on discount go ahead and pick him up other than that I'm set until new product turns up.

Hey Dan, I'm not really into paying big bucks, or really interested in paying much at all for any other XO:W figs myself. The ones I bought were the ones I wanted most. However if they are really about 2 bucks each over there I would probably be interested in 1 of each that I don't have....can't beat that price, if they havn't already cleaned them out.

I only like the Comic Series figs anyway So if they have any of these guys in stock still on clearance would you mind picking them up for me?
