Hi guys,
just to let you know, there is pause in the course of the project because of my problem to give the last money to the sculptor... So he is not stopped by his decision but because of me...
I'll try to do the last payment at the end of February, then he'll come back to work on them soon.
Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to get them, too.
About the choice of colours someone asking for, I'm still thinking how to plan and which colour choose.
I certainly have in mind to order some special colours like they're doing with OMFG figures, for example special edition in black or (if will be possible) Glow in the dark.

Wow, these figures are starting to look excellent! The sciapod is phenomenal! :clapping:
I really hope these go ahead and in the end, are made available to all the mimp fans who missed out in the past...
IMO keep the colors like series 2 maybe adding others later.. The Omfg idea is great, you could do an exclusive backer colour like black or g.i.d only for the people who are financially backing the initial production, then spam out thousands in standard color!! That would rock.

Great news Gorm!

Full steam ahead for these missing beasts!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I realize I'm late to this party (I just found this board), but is there an up-to-date ETA for these figures and a price estimate? I've been collecting MIMP since I was 6 and have always wanted these figs!

I am assuming that molds were made for the rest of the Series 3 monsters -- usually a company would not reserve numbers, etc unless the product was very close to final -- otherwise I would assume that the Series 4 monsters would have used those numbers.

Also, I wonder what other monsters were in production, as there is also a gap between the numbers after the Series 7 Aliens and the Late Dinosaurs. Anyone ever heard anything about what was supposed to come between those?

is he still a WIP~? or is he finalized~? pose looks good, over all body and wings look good, but the detail on fists are lacking, and in the art it looks like he has a hairy chest that comes down to a hairy stomach, not a scarf.

Yes Eric,
still WIP this is not final... Anyway I'm agree about the hair that are very similar to a scarf at this point... It has to be revised... Also the face is not very similar to the sticker art I think... and sure fists are lacking of details.
What about length of the chain? For me they're too long of 1 or 2 links...

I'd go with shorter chains. Chains that long come across like weapons, when really the shackles are meant to just be present instead.

The finished figure will look ace, I love the wings. I know the chains are ment to be restraints but they do look good the length they are. :biggrin2:

Haven't been to this forum for a while but I had to check back & see how this project was going!

The prototypes are looking really promising.

I don't mind how much they cost, I will be buying a set!

You're a legend Gorm.

Wow, totally loving that Bash Tchelik figure!
I agree that the chains should be shorter as in the pic of him in the comic (was there ever a card for this guy?)
And the wings look incredible.
Still, that scarf needs to go, and have him with his exposed pecs & abdomen flowing into fur (kinda looks like pubes... )
His face does look nice, but for me it doesn't quite look like the face in his pic which looks like it has a snout and ears, for me anyways.
This guy looks like he has a kind of handlebar mustache! Lol.
Again, was there ever a card for this guy even in sonics? I've seen the others and have some but not this guy, would love to see one.
Can't wait to see some of the others and how they're progressing.
Best idea Gorm! =@

Hi guys,
good Sunday to all!
Here I'm because I've an important request to do to all of you.
It's time to choose the name of these "16 Missing" figures...
As they've done with OMFG! Figures...
Now we have to choose the best name ever for our little rubber Monsters.
To have the best selection ever I'd to put a rule; only one will be effective (but thought well) choice for each one and in case there are more by the same collector the first one everyone says.
I'd also give a prize money (yet to be decided but not less than 50$ U.S. and not more than 100$ U.S.) to the best creator.
The creator will have also his or her credits on the package we'll print later for the figures!
Do you think could be enough? I want to leave you the chance to choose the name because you're the collectors and you know very well what you want by this production..
Any suggestion or ideas are welcome.
Hope to hear from you all really soon.

This is great news Fede! Means we are another step closer to getting these missing figures!

As for names, do you want us to suggest just one (like a competition) or can we list as many different name suggestions as we like?

I do prefer just one choice for each one, to obtain the best result ever.
Anyway you have enough time to think about it, there is no hurry!
Take your time and pull out the best ideas from your minds.
Yes man, that's sure! We're one step closer.
I'm also organizing with an italian artist to have a very cool artwork to print on the future
package we'll use to release them.

Good News here!
Artwork, or for now the Sciapod looking really good so far!

I don`t know exactly what other Name there will be choosen for these Figures but I would like to see them fitting well with the Original Matchbox Artwork/Logo ect, don`t know how possible that is regarding copyrights but for example, here`s The Original Logo with Blue Background:

Attached File  mimp logo 3.JPG   131.95K   26 downloads

Now remove "The Original" and replace it with "The Unreleased"?
So that the whole Logo reads like "The Unreleased, than the usual Monster in my Pocket, and than small underneath something like Fanbased Figures/Customs"
(for example) ;)
