anybody in walgreens hunting the slugs, will you keep an eye out for gi joe storm shadow or zombie viper figure for me. i don't really collect new joe, just certain figures and i need these 2 still

yes. and allegedly starting series(wave)2 the chase figures will be randomly packed into everything

I just went to the gargantuan, two-level "super Walgreens" in downtown Chicago. They have a sushi bar, a smoothie bar and a humidor, but there were no zombies to be found.

i got 2 of the single figure mystery packs from walgreens today. both were figures from the 12 pack. wish they were like blind bags where you could feel whats inside but they are small coffin shaped boxes. at $1.99 each i may stay away from buying more of the singles and just go after the 4 & 12 packs when each new wave comes.
still, i think these are great.

Just got back from Toys R Us/Babies R us in Austin and the have removed the pegs the 3 packs were on and the didn't have any coffin packs but I will start looking at Walgreens their a 3 within a mile of my house if I dont find any I think I am going to sell what I have this line is kinda let me down

I think what I have encountered and this news that you posted about them removing it from TRU makes me less likely to ever want to buy these, even if I ever had the chance.

I was about to hit that same one today, guess I don't need to now. If it ain't at that Walgreens I can't imagine it being at any of the others, that is their flagship store.

That's what I was thinking, although the downtown Walgreens tend to carry little to no toys so I guess it shouldn't be a big surprise. I also checked one out in the burbs and no luck there, either.

The Walgreens here had them at the front counter on the shelves below the register area mixed in with the candy and stuff NOT with the toys. I'm in Gresham Oregon BTW.
They only just got them in this week and the back of the box says series #1 so I wouldnt get too discouraged yet. The back also only pictures 8 of the 16....

Ah yeah, I checked that area too because I know they put a lot of the little novelty stuff up there often. Oh well, next time I'm in Walgreens I'll look again.

I finally found them here in CA at Walgreen's. They weren't up front by the candy or in the toys section. They were on an endcap that had some cards and stuff. So search your stores and you may find them just hidden.

If you study the pictures and video of the Toy Fare exhibit you can see all the sculpts for wave two. There's a basketball player, two mad scientists, a wrestler looking one, a cook, a gangster, and many more.

I believe there are no new sculpts in the 1 packs that are out currently.

Yep, try others in your area because I went to 3 yesterday day and none of them had it and then the first one I went to today had them. Got to say they are really cool after all.
