Yeah, but... It still doesn't look anything like the fresco painting.
This is the same fresco that magically switched one of the original "Three Specials" with the Muscle Inferno. Don't take it seriously at all.

sometimes when someone is sitting on you or whathever postition over you, and he got your arms, you need to perform a bridge without your arms.Nope, he said to Neptuneman "That was not the true Robin Special, I've been saving it for you" or something to that extent.
http://www.onemanga....nikuman/317/19/ This is seriously annoying me and I wonder what the hell Yude were thinking. A bridge is performed using your arm muscles, shoulder, back and legs. BUT IT DOES NOT INVOLVE USING YOUR ABDOMINALS TO LIFT YOURSELF UP. At most they're a stabilizer. Contracting your abdominals would BREAK the bridge.

I still haven't figured out how that Fresco painting turns into the Muscle Spark, either. Does it depict the moment before the Ataru finish?
congratulations jenny

Nevertheless, if they decided to just switch one, I don't see why they wouldn't amend the Muscle Spark one as well. This is the same fresco that magically switched one of the original "Three Specials" with the Muscle Inferno. Don't take it seriously at all.
The only thing I could see is that it depicts the moment before one applies the Ataru grip.

The ancients were never specific on anything. You know sometimes what is written isn't exactly what really is. Personally, I think that some of what Ataru did either wasn't realized by the ancients or couldn't quite be depicted so they just wrote down what they had and hoped the future would use it wisely or figure out the rest.

I wonder how he "tried to master them" if there's no info on how to pull them off... Or if there was, why no one shared this info with Suguru... Or how Super Phoenix and Zebra could master the two others... Maybe you just have to nearly die thrice to master the three of them? And why didn't Suguru try to master the Muscle Revenge and Muscle Surfboard as well if he was going to be a king? Why am I reading so much into this?

But considering the moves would have to be mastered by the king of the Kinniku clan (despite Mayumi's failure to do so...) you'd think that they actually knew the moves before. And from what we can see, there's apparently also something about them in the Muscle Prophecy (Mayumi's reading through it when he sees the Muscle Surfboard and goes "Yep, that's gotta be it.")
I wonder how he "tried to master them" if there's no info on how to pull them off... Or if there was, why no one shared this info with Suguru... And why didn't Suguru try to master the Muscle Revenge and Muscle Surfboard as well if he was going to be a king? Why am I reading so much into this?
Well for one thing, no one even cared about those techniques for centuries, considering once upon a time you needed to know all three to even be considered material to be Planet Kinniku king. It's only when Mariposa references one with his bizarre version of the Muscle Revenger that they go "OK, rule change: if you know one of these three techniques, then you can be king". Heck, no one even knew what they were supposed to be like and it just seemed like they had to "figure it out for themselves" to determine if the technique was the one they had to know of or not. (well there is the factor of the gods...but of course, that STILL doesn't explain how Powerfulman would know of the exact way to do the Muscle Inferno way before meeting the God of Techniques...then again that scene is coming in the next couple chapters and gets compounded in stupidity when Phoenix does it with the God of Technique's help in the final battle)
All in all, all they knew was this: there were three ancient techniques that had to be known once to be king, it was forgotten to time, but then brought back. Suguru gets one hint of the Muscle Spark after getting nearly squashed by Zebra and Parthenon (whether or not it is exactly like on the fresco), Ataru figures out another, then they combine it together into the perfected one. That's how I see it essentially.

I always found it hilarious that this so called "solid" body of Parthenon turned out to be hollow and filled with money...though likewise it's still sad that essentially Powerfulman was a noble Choujin corrupted because of a jerk in his area who wanted moolah just to get into the Choujin Association. (I may have mentioned it when I TLed it originally: if the king [well, Mayumi] did his job better, then a lot of the problems leading to the Choujin Gods further leading them astray would have never happened)

Mayumi is undoubtly the best character in the entirety of Kinnikuman.
I love Mayumi too but somehow considering how decayed certain aspects of the Kinniku Clan and the Choujin World in general became under him, I just sort of wondered what could have happened if he had a bit of a means to prevent some of the arrogance and dissidence that were used by the Choujin Gods. Like in the example I mentioned: if he discussed with Harabote a means to prevent the outer reaches of the Choujin Associations from making their own rules about enrollment and becoming a fighter, it could have prevented Powerfulman from sacrificing Zebra Kid and becoming obsessed with greed. I know it's a "what if", but its like they expect all these problems to be worked out through battle and just give them to Suguru when he's king.

Sounds like a fairly typical political system to me, haha.
