I can't see you being worse then me Orgg. Hell I only worked on a couple of pages for Kinnikuman_Muscle's attempt at the V-Jump manga, can't say if it's any good or not.

Mantaro gasped as Kid pulled him closer, reaching for his mask.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

Yup. Since I'm on Lady, grab the script of the next Scramble For The Throne chapter and find who has a raw of it. PM me if you can't find the raw somewhere.

You'd have to find someone with digital copies, first.

dumb question - where are the scripts?

(EDIT found the chapter on the team kinniku site - starting in chapter 321 vol. 29)

is there a standard so far for fonts and such?

oh, and is there a common location to upload chapters that are finished? :(

Not really. Knuxie is suppose to download them and check to make sure they're not corrupt, then upload them to the same server that teamkinniku uses. Check this thread for fonts and such, or contact Stetcase King on the board. He's the one that'd know that stuff. He did most of the chapters that are out now.

Check this thread for scripts.

Once again, do remember to completely reword the scripts before you put them on the page. The translations look fine at Mangahelpers, but once they're actually in the bubbles they suddenly sound a lot more awkward.

am i making them grammatically correct or something? i havent read the scripts yet

Here's a random excerpt:

170.
Announcer: If this was done perfectly, then, perhaps it’s 100% useless for Brocken Jr., who has become human, to live and escape from this Choujin Decoration Tree of Team Phoenix, which wounds and kills even a Choujin Body!!
Brocken: …………
Buffalo: Brocke~~~n!!
Mammoth: Brocken Jr., we have the compassion of warriors: if you have something left to say before you’re stabbed with the clincher, you should say it.
Brocken: Th…thank you…Ca…Captain Soldier…can…you hear me…

Soldier: Yes, I can hear you, Brocken Jr.!!
Brocken: I…I wanted to ask you just this in the end…th…though there are strong men like Terryman and Robin Mask who are much, much more powerful than me, why was…was I pulled into Team Soldier…
Soldier: Actually, the true power of Justice Choujin Terryman and Robin Mask is fascinating. However, they possess a force that has already been perfected. This Throne Succession Match has a force of unknown champions which has not been known in the Choujin World until now and has anticipated their participation.
Soldier: To confront these unknown champions, I ultimately thought it best to try and attack with unknown champions than to try an attack with perfected big-wheels!
Soldier: What stood as singled out there was you, Brocken Jr., an unknown major power who had not been perfected even among the Justice Choujin.

Once again, it's a fine translation, but it's so clunky and long-winded that it makes reading the actual chapter a pain. Compare any chapter I did with the original script if you want an idea of how to smooth it out. (the chapters I did are easily identified by the ugly font)

Mangahelpers is the ONLY place to get the script. Even Ataru doesn't keep backups of his work.

Don't worry too much about it. Everyone who's quit has done so because it's long and tedious work, not because it's difficult. As long as you've got dedication and lots of free time, you'll do fine.

So like...why not upload the stuff to Facebook?
Facebook is so easily available to the world.
Finding one small group on Facebook instead of a site filled with "illegal" readings or whatever sounds harder.

Just an idea.

ok site came back up

here's how the script reads

It's the final showdown of two Fated Princes as the greed-driven Kinnikuman Zebra faces off for a final time against the friendship-empowered Suguru! But with everything on the line, who will have the trump card that will take this!?

Chapter 321: Scramble for the Kinniku Throne (48): Zebra Kid’s Friendship

67.
Ramen & Robin: THE HANDSHAKE OF FRIENDSHIP!!
Announcer: Kinnikuman, who was thrown out of the ring by Zebra, has been rescued by Robin Mask and Ramenman’s Handshake of Friendship---!!

here's the japanese page

Posted Image

what am i missing? i saw where the title and subtitle go. it seems there are 3 pieces of text (a narration, Ramen & Robin, and Announcer)... but only 2 text boxes to put it in. i don't know what i did wrong

The very first line is just Ataru's comments on the chapter. The actual chapter doesn't start until after the title.

Also, Wild Words is fine for everything except the chapter title. Change the font on "Zebra Kid's Friendship" to a Seriff font. (the last few translators used CooperSTD for the chapter title)

mangafox is closing down.

Oh? CRAP! *goes and copies all the Kinn Lady scripts to a text file*

Oh. crap. There's only seven chapters?

Apricot, just do the best you can. Even ten chapters of this thing is an accomplishment. I'm doing one box per day myself. Eventually it'll get done. For questions, ask Soldier Ataru.

EDIT: Kinnikuman Lady Chapter 4 is done! Never thought I'd see the day Kinnikuman had the phrase "mashed his face into my ass" on a panel!

Bad news about Mangafox.
I hope someone I know has all the files on their computer and can send them as like JPG or something.
Also...Kinnikuman Lady is bomb, me and a couple buddies totally dig it.

Still a bit rough, but don't worry: You've got 8 volumes of practice ahead of you. Work quickly and it'll be over before you know it.
