Looks like purple Cythulhu is getting some love around here - honoured to have one in my UofV collection, second only to Hell Turtle.

I wonder if I could use some sort of dye to make mine darker purple? It's really more pink than true purple. I'm dumb and should have known lavender meant well, lavender...but I never saw 'purple' show up so I just made the assumption.

Two Cythulhus, one Brute Squad, and a few Neclos!

nice! I think all of those NF guys are on my wants list. Love that crab and the mushroom dude.

I've been army building. I love the close out chains some days. All this for just under £100.

Generic figures from the pound shop just packaged as Mythical Creatures. I'm presuming they're supposed to be a griffon, satyr, troll and ogre. They're likely knocked off from far more expensive versions with nicer paint, but for £4 for what looked to be the full set I'm happy with them. They were in either Poundland or Poundworld, can't remember which.

That Griffin and Satyr are insanely awesome. 4 a piece or for all four?

Is that what he is? I had no idea! Also, gotta love my iphone camera. It isn't flesh, but a nice lava-ish yellow. It looks even better with the red as it gives it a lava/flame feel to it.

£1 each. I'll be back up around Teeside in a month or so, so I can try to pick up some more. Should be able to hit several branches as well, I was only in the Stockton one today.

That is quite a bargain. They remind me of Chap Mei stuff.

Similar feel and paint quality to the cyber-raptor and zombie gorilla that were showing up in the barrels last year if you're familiar with those.

I'm not, sadly, because those sound glorious.

I'll dig them out tonight and get some pictures of them when I've got decent light tomorrow. There was a thread about them in other toys start of last year. I figure I'll be able to grab plenty more of these mythical figures and I'm seeing applications as base figures to do some of the 'monstrous infantry' type troops from 28mm wargames out of these as an alternative to plastic figures weighing in at about £30 for 3 or resin figures costing even more so I'll be looking to buy in bulk next time.

Ha waaaaghlord, I bought those mythical creatures from Poundland too, about a month ago. They sit on my desk in work, along with some of my other Poundland purchases: a set of Tron Legacy figures, a bunch of cool dragons and some Shaman King minis :D

I thought I read where someone else had called him that. Don't know if that's his official name.

That's not an ogre, it's a cyclops - they are made by CollectA, which used to be part of Reaper Miniatures.  I have the cyclops and cerberus, myself.

Thanks for the ID, definitely knocked off from those. I presume the originals were designed to glue together in one pose as opposed to the basic swivel joints on my ones?

Haha, oh dear, Poundland caught stocking bootlegs again. I guess these will be pulled from stores pretty sharpish if anyone notices, like the "Alien Power" Gormiti boots were. Considering they are one of the UK's biggest retailers, they do sail awfully close to the wind sometimes.

Well, the Cyclops has a swivel arm and a removable club, but that's it.

I really dig these designs, though i prefer the better quality ones (didn't know they made these, but for that price they're great!)
I think the guy on the far right is supposed to be hercules.
