Guys.. I think I figured out who Lightning really is.

My crappy translator said Lightning is actually pleased about Kin apparantly losing the hourglass curse.. it appears we have indeed got ourselves a Xanatos Gambit (goddamnit tvtropes) going.. although for what purpose has yet to be seen.

Plus I'm amused because his name Lightning, thats all.

That is what i have suspected aswell actually. I hope this is true, because i rather enjoyed the idea of Thunder & Lightning being Akuma Chojin and i really want Akuma Shogun himself to appear. Surely Yude wont rob us of Mantaro vs Akuma Shogun after bringing him in TWICE. He was easilly the most powerful, formidible and intimidating enemy in the entire series. Hell, Suguru had a phobia of him after their match.

One idea i had was that Thunder, Lightning, Mammothman and Neptuneman and maybe some other chojin's would somehow merge together, willingly or unwillingly into Akuma shogun's physical earthly body.

Maybe the faces that Neptuneman stole will have something to do with it--like maybe having some type of Planetman-esque setup where Akuma Shogun has the faces of Seiuchin, Ilioukhine, Barrierfreeman and Warsman at various vital points (chest, shoulders and face perhaps) and attacking Akuma Shogun in those spots will affect the very existence of the Chojin whose face is there.

Then again, maybe that's just wishful thinking for Neptuneman's face-ripping gimmick to have some purpose other than "because I'm evil."

I highly doubt it was a lie, per say. Considering what those bulbs can do, messing up time and becoming super awesome powerful would be a villain's dream come true. The plot device for it disappeared, just like Kevin's speedos. Which, like the speedos, will come back in due time. ;]

Thunder and Lightning just killed random Chojin before the tournament. In fact they didn't kill anyone except for those two useless ones during the start of the tournament. Neptuneman and Vamp!Walleh did a good job on the killing part though, on just the important characters though.

Have you covered:

Demon Spider, whom I call the "Rape Spider" attaches itself to Suguru after it made a lunge for Mantaro. It turned into an hour glass, which could only be stopped by the power of "love".

Mari is still in FRICKING JAPAN, for no reason at all. Hiding in the shadows and behind trees.

Oh, and we were mocking that weird arsed Kin!girl manga spin-off that somehow surfaced again. Then I made a moe joke, more gender bender jokes were made and we're all wondering where the plot train will crash next.



In other words, the Rape Spider now has a Moe buddy called Kin!girl-chan. Tentacles not allowed please.
