That does not compute. Like, at all.
Also, my "Chaos is Rinko's Daddy!" sense is tingling like FRIGGIN' CRAZY from this chapter. 8DD Make it happen, Yude-sama! You know you want to!

Are you asking a question? If it is a question, then I will go on the record and say that nothing in this arc is sacred to me. Hell, I've been having a ball mocking memes we've made up for this arc.matto is nothing sacred

Well, considering the nature of so many of the wrestling moves... Ultimate Scar Buster coming to mind, I'm not surprised.

I would guess that Rinko is deliberating about what would have happened had her foster mother married Suguru and is conflicted with feelings for her mother's happiness that could have come from being Suguru's true love and having her as her foster mother to raise her to what she is now. Maybe Rinko is half grateful that Mari remained single and adopted her, but also pities her young foster mother for not making it in her love for Suguru.

It's pretty much Yude's fault for putting Kinnikuman Nisei into PLAYBOY of all magazines (in Japan anyway) and thus cutting the potentional for a new fanbase in half. If it was in, say, Young Jump and hell, Weekly Jump or Monthly Jump (or even V-Jump of all f*cking manga magazines), the audience would have been larger and Nisei would stand proudly by it's predecessor.
Hence why I love the Nisei anime more then anything. Yes, the violence being toned down hurt it's chances for popularity and so on, but damn, I love it. Even more then Fullmetal Alchemist, Gurren Laggan(sp?) and Yakitate!! Japan.
Now with that rant out of the way...
SUPER MOTHER-DAUGHTER INCEST GO GO GO!! =D

Omg, someone else other than my classmates have heard about Gurren Laggan. o_o
Back on topic.. You also have to consider the fact that the dubbed anime was aired on a channel in America not many people got and was shown at a time not many people got up for. T__T
...it should've been on Cartoon Network. I effing hate how nothing good is left on Cartoon Network except Metalocalypse, Super Jail, Family Guy, and Robot Chicken.
Pretty soon television will be so bad that only teeny-boppers are able to watch it. You have no idea how high the madness will become amongst the viewing audience. (of course, there will always be YouTube and downloadable torrents.)
..least we still have the manga..

Hey now, I've heard of Gurren Lagann. But only thanks to my obsessive internet lurking skills.
As for the Nisei/Ultimate Muscle...I wouldn't consider FOX a channel that not many people get. Hell, I didn't even have basic cable at the time Fox was airing Ultimate Muscle, but I still managed to have that channel somehow.
But yes...it probably still would've done better on the Toonami block on Cartoon Network. Not that it really matters anymore since CN has already put Toonami down (Sayonara, childhood memories.)
But yes, television is already at that level. Just take a look at the Disney Channel, it USED to be a decent channel where one could watch old Disney shorts and movies. Now, not even their Toon Disney channel shows them anymore. Quite frankly, it makes me angry.
