Not only does the figure look like a custom, but the little picture looks like it has been photoshopped by a child. Why wouldn’t they at least use the image from the movie? Oh, that’s right. You only see Han’s eyes, and it’s just for a second.

Why make him? one word.... let's play a guessing game..My point is, why make a figure of a costume change that was onscreen for all of five seconds on a flickering black-and-white monitor? Are you going to need to recreate that scene? I think a piece of cardboard would suffice. Maybe that's why they didn't use the picture from the movie. They knew people would just rip it off the box and leave the figure on the peg. Seriously, I saw the movie when it came out in 1983 and I never knew that was Han. I never bothered to stop and question who the AT-ST driver was, which I'd like to think is a testimony to how involving the movie is. Or maybe it was just so utterly forgetable that I didn't bother storing it in my memory for fear of overwriting that section of my brain devoted to Streethawk and Automan.

I agree, in a way. The sculpt and articulation actually doesn't look that bad, so from a technical standpoint it's not really all that bad a figure. But I think it's the stupidest concept for a Star Wars figure ever. I really can't think another figure that was as scene-specific and as entirely worthless as this one. That has got to be the all-time stupidest Star Wars figure I've ever seen.

Hm. That's a bit disappointing. I think the cups are cool, but I don't really have much of a reason to pick them up. The Obi-Wan and Darth Maul figures are ancient. Galactic Hunter didn't have pics of the others, but I think I saw a picture of the figure that comes with the Luke cup somewhere, and it was the same Luke Snowspeeder pilot from the beginning of the POTF2 era. While the figures don’t blow my mind (they’re re-releases), the cups are pretty cool (although they are plastic).

This set is strange. Hasbro has been avoiding Episode 1 product for the past few years, especially anything related to Gungans. I'm glad to see the set because I'd like to pick up some Gungans. It's just odd that Hasbro would do this. With this Naboo set you get real army builders and a few accessories.
• Captain Tarpals and a Kaadu
• Naboo Royal Guard
• Gungan Warrior
• Battle Droid

I think you're thinking of B'Omarr Monk, who is often referred to as "Spider Droid". To the best of my knowledge, the AOTC Spider Droid has only been released as a deluxe toy with no figure pack-ins.I don't know what super articulated Clone Trooper you're talking about, but they do already have a spider droid packed with another figure. It's either a regular Clone Trooper or a new kind. And they have a set with a battle droid, a super battle droid, and a droideka. Go to TRU, dude.
