I'm thinking that we won't get them in my area, until further into the summer, and maybe fall.

I grabbed 6 single packs at a Walgreens here in Tucson!
So far I opened 3 and got 2 Corroding Kids, and 1 Rigamortis Lordes!
I'll probably open up 2 more when I get off from work, and leave one sealed.
I'll post pics later also.

It's been YEARS since a major company did something like this.
I mean seriously, muscles in zombie form with GREAT sculpts that aren't only sold in comic or specialty shops for stupid high prices. I think this is the best line in at least a decade, maybe two. Yes it sucks to not be able to grab them locally(i can't either)but that is no reason to give up. I am beyond excited for the rest of the zombies and the aliens and monsters and will support jakks as best i can by trying to get my friends to collect them too. I already got 2 comic shops in my area to pick up the line by showing them my figures and explaining what they are. Both shops are buying at retail price from toys r us and reselling with no markup whatsoever just to help these guys get more exposure.

@plasticsoul: Agreed for the most part. However, in the future, hopefully they can/will partner with an online retailer. Speaking of which, has anyone tried Amazon yet?
They have already partnered with an online retailer:
Entertainment Earth
The problem is there is some major distribution issues going on here. Even Toys R Us sells online but not available with this line. Don't get me wrong, this line is amazing but the choices that Jakks has made so far is frustrating the main buyers, the collectors and the kids. Jakks customer service was atrocious when I tried to contact them 3 times. The fact that I go to Toys R Us every week with my son and he hopes to find what others are finding in other states and comes up empty, then spends his allowance on other toys should make them nervous about losing interest.

They are in a plastic bag inside the coffin. Are the figures loose in the little coffins, or are they bagged/one a plastic sheet?
Well I hit up our walgreens here in Redmond and got lucky.
So I grabbed what they had left, they even let me take the display

Out of mine I got most of the available figures only missing Rigamortis, and Lincoln.
alot higher a price than buying the 12 pack but we don't have anything else down here.

According to the box art, no.

Says series #1to the folks that have purchased the single packs, does it say on them if it's wave one, or do they not state what wave/series they are?

From what I've seen there are (currently, and for this wave) only the 8 non-exclusive figures to be found in the 1 packs, which I have listed in my price guide at 66 cents each. Hopefully this changes when and if the second wave comes out.
I have a few doubles if anyone wants them they would just be the $1.99+ship
1Brain eating Brandon
1Neil armgone
1Jon b Gone
OK, oOMoSOo, I'll give you 66 cents each for your doubles! It's in the price guide, so it's official!

Seriously though, I derived the 66 cent price for the 8 non-exclusives because they are being produced over twice as much as the exclusives. They are sold in the 12 pack format at a cost of (all things being equal) 83 cents per figure, but the 4 exclusives represent more of the overall 12 pack cost, hence bringing the value of the non-exclusives down to 66 cents.
Keep in mind there is currently NO WAY to get a complete set of the 16 wave 1 sculpts without ending up with DOUBLES of the 8 non-exclusives. These are the ones you are going to see up for trade far more often, and as such I think that 66 cents is the fair secondary market price.

If no one wants em I'll just wind up painting them a win win for me either way.

ALSO!!
Check out Adam Pratt's zombie paint ups!

I don't own them, Adam just kicks ass.

I don't understand the need to create a false price guide for toys that have JUST released. Not everything needs a price tag on it besides the one in the store. Most people here who have them in their area are helping people out at cost. It doesn't need always need to be about how much something is worth and certainly not how much you decided all by yourself something is worth.

Also I can clearly and logically explain the prices I came up with. If you say my price guide is "false" then you're saying every price guide in the history of comics and action figures are "false", since they are all created by someone looking at the information and deciding.

When a toy company creates tiers of rarity and chase figures, I personally think there's a need for a guide to let people easily know which figures are commons, uncommons, and rares. oOMoSOo is just trying to help people out by selling them for shipping plus cost, and that's cool of him, and if he paints the figures I think they'd be worth more than $2. But not everyone is like him, look at the guy selling single non-exclusives on ebay for $3.50 each plus shipping. It is nice to have a guide so people can make better decisions about the prices they buy and sell figures for on the secondary market.
Also I can clearly and logically explain the prices I came up with. If you say my price guide is "false" then you're saying every price guide in the history of comics and action figures are "false", since they are all created by someone looking at the information and deciding.
Right so your price guide is now as valid as every price guide in the history of collecting cause you said so.
