Cyber Monday order from OT and the Flameslinger set was a Big Lots find for my kid for Christmas. Rang up as $5 instead of $12. Makes me wonder how much other cool stuff they have that rings up more than 50% lower than the marked price.

Speaking of Big Lots, the one near me has some of those TF Generations data disc 2-packs for $10. Not sure if that's a good deal or not but it's the first time I've seen anything mentionable in the toys section there.

I've seen a bunch of MOTU Classics for $10 each there before, including the Skeletor/Molarr set. Today I saw Ghostbusters II figures for $10 each and some Halo and World of Warcraft Mega Bloks sets at decent prices, but didn't get any. I actually went there to see if they had any Imaginext stuff because I've seen that other people have found some cool sets there, but mine didn't have any.

I pretty much only go there to look for snacks. They usually have some pretty good European candy. I guess it doesn't hurt that it's next door to TRU ;)

Two new arrivals for my bootleg collection. Got these two guys in mint condition and complete for a dead steal of a price.

I wasn't interested in the War Monsters before (largely due to price) but seeing these guys in-hand, they do have a certain charm to them. Also interesting to see the prismatic stickers used on these guys instead of the rubsigns; I wasn't aware of those until today. :)

Being in Canada, have you ever seen these guys turn up in the wild?

I have only ever one ONE battle beast in the wild up here, and certainly never any War Monsters.

I check Kijiji on a weekly basis, (not sure if you guys have that in the states, but it's essentially Craigs List). I found a chariot that way but again nothing else, and sadly not War Monsters.

so i got this in the mail. ;)

series 2 mythos buddies. complete with chases! sadly the quality control is not nearly as good as series 1. i am kind of disappointed in that aspect of this set, but i am happy that my dreamland toyworks collection is complete again. i have one of the very very few complete sets out there. :) including the 3 comic con DIYs released for series 1 :D

happy stoneyface!

captain cthulhu (left center) is the chase. apparently the "gridiron-thulhu" was too.

I really love red shirt-thulhu. that is a hole in his head and there is even and "exit" hole in back
