The grammar is still kind of off. It's a Japanese grammatical structure with english words.

I agree with Ridureyu. Just out of curiosity, are you guys using Ataru's scripts verbatim in the scanlations? Because while they're true translations, they should be reworded a little bit so that they sound more natural/less awkward in English.

The thing was that we weren't getting a good and fast PF who could cope with our speed..

^ But even if your team doesn't have a good/fast proofreader, anyone can still easily see from Ataru's script that it needs a little work to sound better in English.

It's more important to put out quality work than fast work. If it's practically unreadable, then it's not a clear translation.

Yeah. You guys do great work on your team - there's no criticism of THAT. It's just that you're missing one step for the complete translation. You'll find somebody who can work fast enough to keep up, don't worry. And besides, look atsome of the earlier translators - they often had lots of typos, as well!

Now, I personally likely err a little too much on the dynamic equivalence side, but when formal equivalence is taken so literally that rules of the english language aren't observed, it does make the text hard to read.

sorry for disappearing everyone. after losing my job and having to take two retail jobs, i stopped doing pretty much anything anymore except working 7 days a week. 2011 is gone and good riddance. i'm glad someone took the reins
