Now see, I was thinking Lawrence Fishburne, all Morpheus-like. Either way, very bad-ass and wise.

Well, the thing I'm kind of worrying about is exactly why he's there.

It seems pretty obvious what's happening.

Kamehame's spirit is coaching Mantaro and and Chaos (well, I'm guessing Chaos too but there's no image of him), and apparantly Thunder and Lightning are spying on something.

They never made sense, ever, even if they were historically tied to an event mentioned. Yude used them way too much in this arc that it's just... out there.

Wow. This arc is very convoluted, to say the least. And boy do I hate Mantaro with a passion. The guy has so much Deus Ex Machina on his side, and now he is getting even more by learning some of Prince Kamehame's killer techniques. When will his BS ever end? In my opinion, he is definitely one of the worst protagonists ever in the history of manga.

This post is so right to point that I want to give Blackbeard D. Kuma a chocolate bar. Mantaro's character is much more likeable in the anime, he's just so stupid it's awesome.

Well, to be honest, I liked Mantaro in the anime and the early volumes of Nisei. He was an idiot, yes, but he was 'kinda' more likable then.

Also, it seems everyone and quite literally their mother is acting out of character. It's really bugging me.
