I have (what I think is) a reproduction green Claw.

He is the same size and weight as my authentic pink, red, light blue, and dark blue Claws (and it has the correct markings on the back); however, it's flexibility is slightly different and the color is different from authentic green MULSCLEs.

I got it in a lot on eBay many years ago. I've had it boxed up and saw it when I got things out...thought I'd ask for others' opinions.

Any thoughts?

It's a kinkeshi!

It's part of the line that the Mattel line of Muscles was based on. Goes for $10-12.

Hope this helps!

Thanks. I also wondered that...I have a whole bunch of them too. I just didn't realize some of them were so close to the Mattel style.

They should be the exact same sculpt just slightly smaller and of course made out of the squishy keshi rubber.

Would a keshi and a mattel have the same weight?

Not sure on any differences of weight, I would assume there would be variation, but no idea. The color, size and description match that of a kinkeshi.

It looks glossy from the pic. If it is, it is likely from the 199x reissue sets. They were more of a glossy rubber, like MUSCLE but more flexible.

As far as Kinkeshi vs M.U.S.C.L.E. sizes, they are exactly the same. They came from the same metal molds.
The only ones that were smaller were the reisues released a few years back (in the DVD set and beyond) because they made new molds from the old figures, thus the extra shrinkage.

Next to impossible that would ever happen IMO...But, I would absolutely  to have an original MoaiMan mold :woot:  I'd be churning out MoaiMen by the boatload. Make an entire legion of them
