2. Hopefully never. I will stop watching the show if Rocksteady and Beebop ever appear.

2. If its supposed to be off of the original comics, I doubt that there will be any other creatures. But I have a feeling they'll start it up before long, you can only fight against the same people for so long.

The new cartoon mostly follows the style and character dynamics of the original comic book. A few of the old cartoon's concepts appear (the Turtle's van and the communicators, Michelangelo's personality {albeit toned down}, etc.) but fortunately it seems the old cartoon's influence ends there.2. where the hell are the rest of the mutants in the new TMNT, ive seen the show 4 times and i havent seen one mutant besides the turtles and splinter! where is rocksteady and beebop damnit!
Here's a quote from Peter Laird himself...
It has been stated a number of times in various places that the reason the new animated show does not feature Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady and the Technodrome is that Mirage does not have the rights to those characters. This is not true. We have the rights to those characters and most of the other characters from the old animated series. The reason they are not in the new show has NOTHING to do with rights issues, but rather the fact that I did not want to use them.
So, it doesn't seem like Rocksteady or Beebop will ever appear in the new cartoon. Which is good... I liked the old cartoon back in the day simply because it was Ninja Turtles, but frankly, it was pretty horrible. And Rocksteady and Beebop epitomized why it was so bad.
Krang might not be coming back, but I'm 100% sure that the TCRI aliens will be making an appearance. The robot that Shredder found at the bottom of the bay looks exactly like a TCRI exoskeleton. And I'd be winning to bet that the Matrix wannabe-guys in the black trenchcoats are TCRI aliens.

yeah, i totally agree. i liked the old ones cuz at least they introduced new mutants. also, it helped with the toys because it gave them cool new toys to play with. are all the toys going to be human since they mostly fight human villians? that would get lame and boring pretty fast if you ask me.you can only fight against the same people for so long.

it was at K Mart i bought 1 Price Adam and two Sy Klones
i would like to trade a Sy Klone for either Trap Jaw or a good amount of colored MUSCLEs
(mainly Trap Jaw)
2. as for the turtles well they were cool back in the day
i never seen the new episodes (maybe 15 mins wearth)
i dont know rock and bop seemed to play a nice role with TMNT
guess we will see what happens in the long run

I definitely agree with that. I do like the idea of new mutants. I would just prefer that they're not like Rocksteady or Beebop...are all the toys going to be human since they mostly fight human villians? that would get lame and boring pretty fast if you ask me.
Hopefully, we get to see the Triceratons in a prominent role. I heard something about a new Triceraton figure a while back, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

PS - I saw Prince Adam and Sy Klone at a Toy Works yesterday, amidst the endless sea of He-mans and Skeletors...

Well... I liked Bebop, Rocksteady (and to some extent) the channel 6 team.Hopefully, we get to see the Triceratons in a prominent role. I heard something about a new Triceraton figure a while back, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
I'm glad we don't have characters like "Flyman" Baxter Stockman, Leatherhead, and the Frogs, as well as the million s of characters made into figures (like Ace Duck, Monty Moose, Doctor El).
I mean, if they mutated Hun into some sort of monster, that's the kind of Mutant that would work on the show. As I've said before, this one emphisizes Drama, over the wackiness of the original...
