How many people here have the Masters of the Universe chase figures? Here are the few that I know of.

Mekaneck (Clear Googles, Green Belt Buckle, Red Kneepads)
Trapjaw (Light Green Colors, All Green Belt)
Orko (Blue Fireball, Orange Magic Goo)
Skeletor (Reverse Armor Colors?)
Teela (Gold Hairband)

I always keep my eye open for the chase figures, but I have yet to see any.

i guess it's not really a "chase" figure, but i gave my little brother (age: 23) one of the "iron cross" he-man figures for christmas.

I have never found a chase MOTU figure and I have opened probably 50+ cases (different assortments, different stores). The teela gold hair band is not a chase, it was a running change. I have the first one with the sold unpainted hair band (which is way more rare). I have seen probably 30 of the gold hair band teelas since they have come out. They are not chase and not rare. I personally think that it is stupid for Mattel to do chase figures. I think mail-aways are a way better approach to making the adult collectors happy and it gets people to buy more figures which increases sales! Not to mention that all the chase figures suck, except for the TrapJaw, because he sports the classic figure look with the bright neon green!

Thats how they should do it, but so many figures and send away for a chase of your choice. That wouldnt be all to bad. That would increase the amount of money the get by this much l-----l (well alot). But none the less, Im still on the look out for any chase figure that I may come across.

The chase and variants made me lose all interest in this MOTU line. I had started collecting them and had most of the first figures. But then when I started looking around on the internet, it looked like every figure had two or three paint jobs. Add that to the ridiculous ratio of He-Man/Skeletor to everyone else, and to me Mattel has really laid a turd with what could've been a great new line of a classic toy.
But maybe that's just me. e+

I have not seen any of those figures, either.

WhodatMuscle, I agree with a lot of what you said. There are too many variants and chase figures for me. Plus, the ratio of He-Man/Skeletor figures to everyone else has also put a damper on my enjoyment of collecting these figures.

i wouldn't mind all of the he-man and skeletor figures if they had unique sculpts, and didn't look so damned goofy...

Hey, just skip the He-Man and Skeletor variants and buy everybody else. I found a Sy-Klone and Prince Adam, and they will become more common as Trap Jaw and the others have become. I can't pass up a new Roboto just because there are 40 He-Men. Now if they just announce Kobra Khan this summer...
