New Beast Saga manga in Japan

It runs in Saikyo Jump. I only have chapter 2 so I don't really know what it's all about either.
It takes place on the Planet Beast. The protagonist is Lioga, King of Gloria. The characters of Goldar and Big Serow are back with the same names.
I see some other familiar characters like the giraffe and the fish, though their names are different.
The aquatic guys (fish, manta ray, swordfish) are pirates and are after the Godlot(sp?), an ancient power source. Apparently it is split into 3 parts, water, fire, and air.
The beast can fire beams from their chests called Psycholot(sp?). Looking at the manga, it seems each beast has its own unique animal face emblem and are not faction symbols in this.
The armor on these guys looks less cyborg and a bit more medieval. But they still use technology and vehicles.
Strangely, I don't see TakaraTomy trademarks anywhere on this. Or any trademarks at all, period.
I assume if this runs enough chapters, they'll collect it into a trade paperback.

If new toys do come in to play that look anything like that lion, I'd scoop them up quickly. I am loyal to the originals, but looking at those photos has me thinking about cheating....

Those are the same blood than the original Beastformers. I can't wait to see more and hopefully a full new line of figures from Takara.

I hope for toys too. To wait I will receive soon (in about 1 week I guess) the part 1 and 3 of the story. I still have to find part 2 but this one was available with an issue staring Dragon Ball so it sold out really fast.

Splash page features a horse, birds, and some type of fish
two guys attack Lionga:
Crab's name - Tarabaani (Tarabagani is Red King Crab - http://shizuokagourm...crabtarabagani/)
Fish's name - Kassago (Kasago is a type of Japanese rock fish - http://www.lurebook....cription/kasago)
There are Pigs, Dogs, and Cats among Lionga's town (one type of dog with whiskers looks like he might be modeled after the Dog Slave from the Transformers episode!)
Pirates:
Swordfish name - Birusoodo (translates "bill sword" aka swordbill if I did it right)
Manta name - Mantarei
Gator name - Arugairu
The bad guys also have a bunch of piranha goons whose job seems to be just to die

I'm sorry but I don't think it would be cheaper to get them from me. I get them directly from www.amazon.co.jp and if you add shipping from Japan to New Caledonia and then shipping from New Caledonia to USA (or anywhere else) I'm sure it would be cheaper for you to directly bought them at www.amazon.co.jp

The cheapest option would be to wait for the trade paperback (tankouban) to come out. (That's what I'm going to do.)
But there is the possibility that a tankouban won't be published if the manga isn't popular enough.
I've got the second chapter and could scan it some day if such a need arises.

TheNinja is right. The cheapest way to get this story is to wait for a trade paperback. But when you're a completist like I am you have to get every magazine issues + the trade paperback. I'm still looking for some issues of the old TV Maga from the 80's to complete the full Beastformers run. The life of a completist is not an easy one ^^

Started translating the story.

Package with the part 1 and 3 of the Beast Saga just arrived. I will post any information I could find later. The package with the part 4 should be in my hands beginning of next week.

I thought the 3d images were just some cg art, though it would be cool if there was a pilot somewhere. Nothing shows up on google besides this manga, not even card games or their own site or subsite from whoever is drawing it. Between this and the American line suddenly coming to life after years, this is a busy two weeks.

I strongly agree with you. I have yet to back any other line, but depending on what they do here, I'm beyond interested, more like salivating. Someone needs to email them to get a kickstarter going for that project - or better yet tell them to get moving so I can play with the toys before my son does.
