Here's some stuff I've been meaning to have you guys take a crack at:

These came out of vending machines--I'm wondering what they are bootlegs of. The robots have a hard plastic removable shell and the inside figures are soft plastic. The bottom ones I have seen around but I can't remember if they were ever ID'd:

Here's some randomness. Vending figures, premiums, etc:

Does your blue Saint Seiya look to be broken on the top of his head?

Second picture
First Row No 1 and 2 are Pet Aliens.
Second Row No 3 looks like a Ninja Mite.

Thanks guys.

I'll have to check the blue guy's head when I get home. I can't remember if it looks broken. I know I pulled the shield things off the red woman at some point. I've got a few more of these not pictured too.

The robots I did get in the U.S. in a grocery store vending machine. I'd say 1994-1995. I've got more of those as well. I want to keep them but I will see if I have any spares. :)

The black guy is marked with Panosh, so I searched Panosh Ninja Mites and he is indeed one of them.

Now the one that really has me puzzled is the cartoonish black robot. I feel like I've seen it somewhere else before but can't remember where.

Black guy with a base in the second pic is a "screaming yellow zonker" premium.
http://mistertoast.b...ow-zonkers.html

And that yellow bipedal creature with a saddle I know I've seen in random keshi lots and now it's killing me because I know I finally tracked down what it was from. Guess I got more sleuthing to do.

Cool, thanks for solving the mystery on that one. When I looked at that site I also noticed that one of those premiums is based off the turtle/crab alien that was also a Galaxy Laser Team figure. Interesting how that one showed up in different places.

The question now is, what came first? Also I never had much love for figures with bases until I read your blog, I dont know wether to thank you or not for that

Also if your Ninja Mite has Gitd white paint (which I think I can see) he is a Ninja Mite if not he is either Cosmix or Exogini.

It reminds me of a creature from a Moebius comic!

I'm assuming the robot centaur and bipedal dude belonged to the same set because they're the same material (keshi/eraser-like) and just look like they'd go together. They both have Japanese writing on their backs, it's hard to tell but I don't think the writing matches up exactly on both though.

I know the anime where those keshi robots came from, but I must go home first because I don't remember the name! :p

edit:
Remembered! It's Galient -> http://en.wikipedia....r_World_Galient
It's a great keshi toyline to collect, there aren't too many sculpts (I believe only 16) and they came in two sizes, regular (like a MUSCLE) and large (about 2 or three times the regular size).

edit2:
here are some images of boxes of keshi:

here's one for the large keshi:
Attached File  giant_galient.jpg   41.34K   18 downloads

and here's what I have in my collection:
