I've gradually assemble a few Gundam figures but I don't know much about the line (and I've never watched the show). Does anyone have some good information on the 4" Gundams? I'd like to find a list of the ones sold in the U.S., their weapons, any further ones that were available in Japan, etc..

I realize this is outside this forum's bailiwick but I thought folk here might know.

yeah, I need to find the niche spot for Western Gundam collectors. I have a rather large box full of completed Gundam models in boxes from the 90's that I'm needing to unload.

I have a few of the Bandai America 4" Gundam figures, which are basically the domestically-released Mobile Suit in Action figures. I've never seen a good list of the toys, and I've looked! Sorry I don't have more information for you..

Oh man... I would love another box of Gundam for making customs.... but I do still have a crapload from the last box I picked up. Well, if I end up with anything you want to trade, but probably looking for cash huh?

Imperfecz, I should have some slightly incomplete Gundam figures for trade shorly (missing some shoulds, feet, etc.). I got a rather mixed eBay lot. These, again, are the 4" Bandai figures. If you're interested let me know and I'll hit you up when I get them.

Also, do you (or anyone) have any spare Gundam bits or weapons left over from customizing? I might be interested in trading for some of those if you have them.

I can take a better photo later this evening, but this is roughly what I have, plus a series of SDs not pictured. About half of them I got in Singapore. AFAIK they're all complete

Cash is good, but I like trading too :)

I've been looking for info on and off for a few days now, and I still haven't located any decent resources. My current burning question: what's the difference between the MSIA line of action figures and the other Bandai figures?

MSIA was the Japanese line of pre-assembled & painted Gundams; the 1:144 figures are model kits that you had to assemble & paint. Bandai America re-released the MSIA figures, usually missing accessories & weapons as compared to the Japanese MSIA figures. In addition, the American releases usually had less paint, but were made from the same moulds.

Ah, OK. That makes a lot of sense.

But I take it the MSIA line is still being produced? At least, there seem to be more and newer things in that line being sold. Somehwere I saw mention of Bandai licensing other companies to manufacture in that line, but again, no specifics are forthcoming.
