I couldn't find a thread for Yowies on here, and I just picked up a couple that had new animals... Woodpecker, American crocodile and leatherback turtle. Anybody else see new ones out?

**added pics of new guys with older ones, the runt absconded with the leatherback**

Does the display box still look the same, or does it have pics of the new animals on it?

Box looks the the same in the local Wal-Marts, but I have seen a new look posted on line.

Does the display box still look the same, or does it have pics of the new animals on it?

I have grabbed three of the new ones.  The new capsules are a bit nicer than the old ones, easier to open them. My luck continues with pulling actual Yowies though.  Anteater, clownfish, and a turtle...sigh

Was the turtle a tortoise, or a leatherback?
The others you named are from the first wave... I hope those aren't all mixed in, together.

I'm concerned now. I found this seller with some opened Yowies and what I assume to be the new style of capsule. All of the figures with it are old though! http://www.ebay.com/...e-/112104569657 Given the pain it was to complete a set - Steve made it a hell of a lot easier though, wherever he went - I don't relish buying them only to keep running into more damn owls.

I asked because I bought two just the other day, and they had the new capsules, but contained two of the old series animals.

I picked up a couple this morning, and got two of the new actual yowie figures... The new yowie character sculpts are vast improvements over the old ones. Better, more expressive sculpts... Cast in color plastic with minor paint applications.

I saw there was a vulture in the new assortment, too. Gotta get that one.

Are these the chocolate covered capsules similar to Kinder eggs? If so, I've got a few of these animals. Is there a list of all of them? I quite like the quality of the ones I've got.

Here's my pulls from series 2:
I got a bagheera!
While I do like the orange and green Yowies, I'm down to trade any of these except the panther, for other Yowies... I typically look for woodland/bear/rodent types.

I've only ever heard of a series 1 beaver but I have seen a few in videos

Yeah, it's nice.
I really am only looking for the series 1 beaver, and series 2 ferret.

I am away for the next month but when I'm home again, if I have an extra beaver it's yours. I know exactly where my Yowies are, unlike B.P. Richfield.

I was fine with the old Yowies but these sculpts are nice too! Less into the names on the bellies though.

Is there a list of all of them?

You can go to the Yowie World website, and see lists of all of the sculpts.

Also, the display box for the new run says All American Collection on it.

I picked up the salamder looking gimmick yesterday. It's cool, but it's no rodent.
