I recently got into collecting Popy mini kinkeshi, but haven't been able to find any sort of archive or checklist for these figures. From my research, it seems nobody else has either. I'm not even sure how many different sculpts there are. That got me thinking that it could be useful to create a topic here where people post pics of different Popy mini sculpts in their collections to serve as a sort of makeshift archive that can help with collecting them.

To be clear, I'm just talking about the Popy minis. Not the chibis, super-deformed, or any other type of kinkeshi. The popy minis are slightly smaller than regular kinkeshi (with unique sculpts) and are marked with © YS.N.T with a circled P underneath. Like this:

Attached File  popy_back2.jpg   125.63K   14 downloads

I'll start by posting all the different sculpts I own. If you have any that are not shown, post pics of them. I think it would be most helpful for people to only post pics of sculpts they own that are not already shown previously in this topic. That way we can get a better sense of how many different ones there are.

Please contribute if you can!

I'm all for this Popy Archive Initiative. I'll sift through my Popy and see if I have anything you haven't covered yet.

Cool, I'm glad some others are interested in this. I updated my original post with embedded pics instead of uploaded--the uploads were automatically downsizing and I thought it might be hard to make out some of the figures.

A check list was supposably in the works during the old Noachin kinkeshi site before it went down. But it never happen. I dont think there ever been a complete check list of those figures. I got a pretty big collection of those guy. As far as I gather from years of auction pics and sites. I might need 6 more figures to go. Then again, there might be figures i never seen before. I'll throw some pic of what I got soon.

Here are a few more!

Nice! Thanks for posting. There's a bunch there I don't think I've even seen pics of before. Is that yellow bug-eyed antenna guy in the bottom row of the first pic a Popy mini? I have one but his markings are rubbed out and I thought he was a regular kinkeshi. The different sculpt of him that I have (red, last figure in my photos above) has the Popy mini markings.

Man, it's really too bad that site bit the dust. If you think you're only a few away you must have a great collection of them. Will look forward to seeing your additions here when you get the chance to post.

You know, you might be right. The markings on my figure are actually rubbed out too.

Nice. I wonder if it's an actual set or just a box of random ones? Will be interesting to see what you get once it comes in.

Great pics--we must be close to having them all shown here now. I think that's the first time I've seen a pic of a Bibimba Popy figure. Does anyone know if this Queen Kinniku is actually a Popy mini? I think I saved it from a thread where it was shown with other Popy minis but I can't remember which thread or who posted.

I forgot about those rare popy figures. There's a mini popy mammonth man that I always wanted. Especially the bigger SR kinkeshi.
