You're not too far off man; I saw a 16-18 year old kid in public the other day with a mullet who was dressed and behaving as though he wasn't a social reject. And this wasn't the standard shaved-on-the-sides-out-of-touch-with-society-Inbred mullet that I see all the time in southern Missouri, but a legit 80's-style feathered MacGuyver mullet.

Lol

I also noticed Hitops are huge again.:)

I just hope the plastic is hard PVC MUSCLE type, if they make it out of soft subber like Squinkies it will ruin it for me.

There is something that just seems wrong about pink squinkie rubber.

LOL

I hate that they feel the need to make a licensed thing out of this. Why not just try some crazy designs and cool ideas. It seems to be working pretty well for Moose Toys at the moment.

They re displayed The Road Warrior MUSCLE figures at San Diego Comic Con today I guess? http://www.wrestling...23665&page_id=1  so maybe they are being made?

It would only be awesome if they release like every wrestler ever!

I found 3 others from their comiccon page:

First the 2 roadwarriors displayed with the other figures:

I attended the WWE signing events at the Mattel booth during SDCC, so I ended up spending quite a bit of time waiting around in this area.

The Mattell booth employee that I spoke with said they were "prototypes," and that he did not have any relese details.  I then said something along the lines of, “so no official plans to release these or make a new line of them then,â€￾ to which he replied, “well, they are being displayed with all the other future and new WWE figure releases, so what do you thinkâ€￾? (and kind of smiled)

A guy I was standing in line with then said he had heard they were going to be included as mystery bonus figures for the full size line.  Another dude said he heard they we doing WWE Muscles…

Until Mattel makes an official announcement, I have zero faith that they will actually be made...

I'm not going to bullshit you... I'd buy them as pack ins, and give the large figures to my daughter, who is a big wrestling fan.

I'll take them how I can get them.

We live in a world where Jakks made an original sculpted line of short lived mono-minifigs and Mattel might be making rubber Andre the Giant figs.

I'm glad these have popped up again at the Con. Makes it still seem possible.

80s stuff does seem to be back in vogue so a re-release doesn't seem crazy. Though I think it seems more likely for them to be WWE related instead of Kinnikuman related.

I agree, and as they go attain licensing from Bandai for the main characters and the claw! and some others too.

Well today I mailed Enrique (in the Uline 8"x4"x4") boxes I use for shipping, this letter (pasted below), a mint 4 pack, and a Garbage Can for reference.

Feel free guys to just put some clean good looking muscles in a little box with a letter saying how cool it would be to have WWE M.U.S.C.L.E.S.

just ship it to

Enrique Ruvalcaba

333 Continental Boulevard

El Segundo, CA 90245-5012

It will work if we all do this.  Just send something.  Treat it like a secret santa and get it out of the way.  set it and forget it and next thing you know a Mattel M.U.S.C.L.E. sales plan will pop up.  Or info will leak from here or there.

here is mine below:

Hi Enrique,

My name is Alec and I'm part of an online community of action figure collectors.  With the recent prototypes revealed at San Diego Comic Con the internet has been buzzing about a M.U.S.C.L.E. relaunch.  The figures are absolutely beautiful.  The sculpting is amazing.  I really like the liberty you took Enrique, in the loose and unsual interpretations of these wrestlers as muscles because it really lives up to the acronym as Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere!

Mattel will generate large profits by capitalizing on the growing upsurge of interest in monochromatic collectible mini figures.   Many new acronym titled, M.U.S.C.L.E. inspired, flesh colored mini figure lines are popping up everywhere.  Now is a great time for Mattel to step into it's enduringly popular brand property M.U.S.C.L.E. (as King of the acronym lines) and show that it wants to deliver to it's fans. With Mattel's WWE licensing, it can give fans affordable figures with the names of their favorite WWE wrestlers and Hall of Famers.

This year in Mid October Topps is coming out with monochromatic minifigures for Garbage Pail Kids called Minikins the same way they did when M.U.S.C.L.E. first was out.  It has come full circle.  It will be amazing to see M.U.S.C.L.E. and GPK minifigures out at the same time again with no related pre-planning.  Hopefully Mattel can release M.U.S.C.L.E. to coincide with Minikins 2nd Series or sooner.

Packaging that was unique to M.U.S.C.L.E. was the translucent garbage can container.  Maybe this time around one of the ways Mattel can package them is in Translucent Mini Garbage Cans.  Just a thought, because the packaging played a substantial role in the charm of muscle.  Everyone remembers those garbage cans they came in!

Now is the time for Mattel to flex it's WWE M.U.S.C.L.E.!

Thanks Enrique, for taking the time to read this!  The muscles included are a gift, enjoy them!  Also, below is a facebook page and a muscle blog that may be helpful visually.
