So, Sandbagger and I were farting around on the Kaiju Big Battel Facebook page, and they posted some pics of some DIY sculpts that they are hinting at Kickstarting... These things are small, too, like probably Fistful of Aliens sized... I'd be extremely stoked to get KBB figs in pvc!

Incorrect.

My original title for the post contained the typo "Kaiju Bit Battle", but I went back and changed it after I saw Jefferson's post calling me out for the mistake.

Well eff everything, because once I imagined these toys being called Kaiju Bit Battel, it worked for me.

 

Always appreciated the Dr. Cube culture of the franchise, but I general I could never get into Kaiju Big Battel. That always felt odd.

I like Dr. Cube, and loved the Sky Deviler character... Glad they have the Baby Deviler character in the mythos now. I would love to see them bring Ultramantis Black in, too.

It's been 11 hours since I found out this was even a thing, and they can't come quickly enough.

Okay, for the uninitiated, Kaiju Big Battel is a live show, done in the style of professional wrestling. It takes place in a wrestling ring without ropes, but surrounded by a steel cage, with prop model buildings set up on the mat. The wrestlers are actually guys in kaiju costumes, that go out and do comedy style matches in their monster getup in front of a live audience.

They look neat, but the sculpting is a bit rough.  Interesting to see where they go with these though.

Bull-butter, haha, we talked about this show two years ago!
As far as the sculpts, we're all in glass houses, homie. I'll support the line, as even rough sculpts are better than no sculpts.

OH man you should check youtube, it is a train wreck of bad wrestlings and big kaiju costumes lol

As far as rough sculpts, I think they could work since the source material had a very "homeade" look at times and will probably be refined well if they are actually looking into PVC production and not just resin casts

It used to be on cable as well, I think Spike or TNN had a little show about them if I remember right.

I never saw them on tv... But they'd fit perfect on Adult Swim, or even regular CN.
