Hey guys, is it me or this a blue T-Rex within this lot? It could be purple, but as there are no other similar coloured figures to compare it with its hard to say.

Might be a false alarm as I contacted them and they said its light purple - but they haven't got another 'purple' figure to compare it to and I get the impression they're not into MIMP enough to know the difference.

It might be due to variations on monitors because on mine it looks like the standard series 1 purple.

As a general rule of thumb, if you see a MIMP in a colour they didn't make, the correct answer is to fix the colours on your VDU, not to start a thread on LRG.

Totally agree to this, if people did the research on the forum all the answers are there. Chances of it being a foreign variant are highly unlikely.

So you're saying that the colours on my iPad are wrong yeh? The day you're a moderator on this site is the day you can tell me what I can and can't post about fella. I presumed it was a Sonrics figure, but just checked monstercollecting and there's no pic - but it still could be out there somewhere.

Highly unlikely doesn't mean impossible. Anyways I offer my most sincere, humble apologies for daring to post this thread - my MIMP collection deserves to be burnt in front of my very eyes. You ask a genuine question, you get burned... Sweet. Powers that be feel free to delete.

Seriously though the only colour not in that auction apart from that one "dark blue" figure is purple, did common sense not kick in?

So you're saying that everybody who lists on eBay sells at leat one figure of every standard colour in their lot and never anything of a rarer colour? As for common sense, common sense to me is not taking something as pointless as this as seriously as you are. I can't believe that from me asking a simple question you and strontium dog have jumped in with both feet. Do you have a PHD in MIMP collecting that allows you to burn me in the way that you've done? Great way of making new forum members feel welcome.

I just dont want to have to answer this type of question over and over because people take shitty overexposed pictures of monster in my pocket for ebay all the time.

If the question is so annoying/unnecessary why bother to answer it? Nobody is forcing you to respond to member questions.

To be fair I thought exactly the same thing..... why get involved in a topic if ya annoyed by it just ignore it, same applies to T.V programmes it pisses me off when ppl really feel the need to pick up the phone & complain rather than doing the easiest thing & switching the channel.
If ya not gonna bother answering the simple question just forget it & read something else....
BTW it aint blue mate soz ;)

I can't speak for anyone else, but I certainly didn't "burn" anyone. I gave what I felt was helpful advice.

Now, you can take heed of that advice if you want, or you can ignore it as you ignored the last piece of advice I gave you (what to price your MIMP dinosaurs at on eBay), I honestly couldn't care. But please don't react as if I just ran over your pet cat. Thanks.

Everybody relax. A simple way to circumvent having this whole discussion, while educating Mr. Burty, would have been to simply paste a link to one of the numerous threads that this topic has been covered in, and leaving it at that. Everybody take a deep breath, it's not like the new guy was trolling.

Dude it's the internet. You can't seriously expect everyone to be nice. Fighting with the people you think may have been rude in one offhand comment in any forum besides JUNK just shows a lack of respect for the site itself. Would have been just as easy to ignore the comment or simply say that was kinda rude rather then pull the drama fake sincere apology i'll burn my collection move.
