WICKED my friend, just WICKED!!!

3+ years ago, I tried to purchase color changing plastic medium, however, the company that owns the technology wouldn't even send me a sample to try and they were waaaaaaay more interested in making frizbies and junk in mass production rather than sell to independent toy designers...they sucked! <_<

Oh well...paint looks to be the way to go for color changing... :D

GREAT JOB once again! B)

Forgot to post yesterday ....

Really impressive Matt'. What i really appreciate personally is that, although i really like Battle Beast, it doesnt LOOK like a Battle Beast figure. Its in scale and it has certain features but the overall look moves in a different direction.

SWamp Thing comes to mind :D

I mean at some point the Beast werent in armor and although this figure has the LB torso and some type of armored boots the look males that secondary.

ORGANIC...thats what i think it is...it looks organic.

Anyway...nice. Ive got to find some time to pump out a few myself .

Where does the character fit in your collection? Is it a Laserbeast? Is it a third faction? Part of the elemental group? You know i love a story !

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

B) thanks for the comments guys!

It's a shame it needs to be so hot to change. I wonder if it would change throughout the day if you had it sitting by a window where it got lots of sunlight.

here in England I reckon I'd have to wait another 8 months before it got hot enough to try that out!!! although it is kind of cool when I pick it up and bits turn green where my hands are warm...

Marty - that sucks!!!! I would be so much cooler to have the actual plastic change color :D My limited knowledge meant that I asked the guy I bought it from if it could be mixed with resin but alas he said no!

the source of all items...ebay!!! when I've got more $$$ I'll probably get some more colors...

I think it will look a bit more Laser Beast-ish when I get an orb in one but I love the organic image you have put in my head! Almost like a moss is growing over it...thinking aloud, I wonder if a different base colour would give a different feel....

In my head I had imagined

The three Godbeasts were in the process of making the Laserbeasts. One day they found the turtle washed up on the shore almost lifeless, they realised it was not of Planet Beast but took pity on the creature. The only way to save it was to make it in to a Laserbeast like the others. The trouble was that being from another planet the turtle was slightly different from the other beasts. The power of the elements given to the turtle caused him to mutate....

that's what was going on in my warped mind anyway!!! :D

While the LB ord may look nice in the end i think the "moss" look its where its at with this fig.

Id even go so far as to get some of that green foam moss you get from dollar stores or train shops (or miniature shops) and glue some "moss" on him ala Masters of the Universe "Moss Man".

Or not...either way it looks good.
