Hard to compare. I can see arguments for Botha sides, but Star Wars has such a grand story that is easy to be invested in and really creates a universe for you to experience, where at alien is more of a horror movie that takes place in space

Yeah , but Alien so far just seems sharper and more modern for it's time. Toy wise obviously pretty lame, but on a film level much better so far

Im gonna go out and say storyline - starwars, Badassness of alien races - Alien. By that i mean cmon look at a "alien" THEY ARE FREAKING AWESOME! Im not so much for the alien movie but the sheer awesomeness that is the look they gave those things... utterly beautiful (you know in a kinda... gross...body eating...slimy kinda way lol)

PS: not sure if you have seen it but if you want a splash of both cool aliens and good storyline check out "Farscape"

Alien is probably a "better" movie, but they're radically different films, so I don't know how you could meaningfully compare the two.

Think Alien and Salem's Lot are more comparable than Alien and SW.

Alien is pretty much Salem's Lot with... well, aliens. In space.

Though the original cut of the SW trilogy is so much better than the remastered versions. Might not be as crisp as Alien in some regards but it does give the films more character. But have a soft spot for practical effects so there's also that, which both films have in spades.

I agree that you can hardly compare the two. The only similarities they have are aliens and spaceships.

I think both franchises are great.

What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?

My preferences tend to fluctuate. Usually anything orange creamsicle is going to be in my top 3 though.

However: Chapman's, (a Canadian brand), has recently started pumping out these flavours marketed towards kids that are phenomenal. Grape/vanilla, chocolate and "blue vanilla ice", pink marshmallow, blue cake and vanilla, and finally fruit punch and orange "twisted" ice cream.

Sweet baby jesus life is good.
