Hold the phone right there! That in and of itself is worthy of its own thread! There's been no indication of what sets would be released in the UK next, and they're jumping from Atomic right into the first Cartoon series! Did not see that coming.

News to me too, and I live here(!)

http://www.theinthin...201270580619726

Are these more UK exclusive metallic repaints, then?

And check out the Lords box, there seems to be a gold Toby?!

I tried to download the other pics too, but it wouldn't let me.

I have no idea if they are exclusive or not yet. Hopefully Jon will know more when he gets here tonight.

I LIKE this set, and I am not a Gormiti fan! But then again, I love solid gold, silver, etc figures anyway....

I am not interested in future series. I personally have no interest in the action figures, I will for the foreseeable future only be buying the small figures as they are released domestically. This is the heads up from me. Thanks for asking.

Yes, In a nutshell, I was told that they are releasing the cartoon series in the UK to dealers in September/October, which means a October/November release in the UK stores.

I can get these, but really I will only order if there is a large enough demand for them.

So the question is, if I were to get these on order, would you be willing to pre-order them.

I would get single foil packs, 4 packs, magic eggs, the playset and possible the action fgures with beasts.

Pricing would be close to what I have Series 2 priced for:
http://store.littler...mp;Category=152
depends on exchange rate and shipping.

If I get enough interest here, I will set up the pre-order sku's and order them. If not, I won't. :pardon:

I am extremely interested in the playsets and the figures. Especially the animals!! I have been trying to get those for a long time so you could sign me up for at least one of each!!

Is there any word yet on whether the 6 rare volcano figures are going to be released in the UK?

You can only get those 6 (Fiery Angel, Lavor etc) packaged with 6 large Lord figures. I think Germany got them when Cartoon series came out there, so I have my fingers crossed; they're the only 6 I need from that series, and I'm not royally keen on splashing out 90 quid or whatever it would cost to get them from Italy.

About three months ago in Italy the 6 rare volcano figures were available without card in the chips bags :-)
Many people in Italy got those "rare" figures buying chips.

Is it me or has the price for the regular Non action figures of Gormiti gone up in the Uk that site has 4 packs for £7 yet series 1 and 2 4 packs in most stores was £5.

I know argos keep jacking the prices up but do for plenty of other things as well like trading card games hell they put £15 extra on the price of a Wii.

No, you're right. I mean, in TRU, series 1 and 2 4-packs were £4.99 just last year, and now I go in there and Series 2 and Atomic 4-packs are £5.89. And it's even more expensive because they like to duplicate figures in the 4-packs so you have to get loads of duplicates to complete a set. Unless you're wanting to keep them MIP, then there's no real reason to buy them brand new from a physical store; you can almost always find them cheaper online or on eBay. IMO the best way to get Gormiti, if you're in Europe, is to order a big box of single packs from a trader because the cost per figure is usually low, and those boxes rarely if ever contain any doubles. Although obviously for people in the States, I recommend the LRG store :)

Could be the cost of oil.
I remember when oil first started going through the roof, plastic/rubber toys jumped a few bucks. The cost of the raw materials went up. Now that oil has crept back up a little, I am sure their prices went up.

Here's a question though. Does this change the prices for the series 3 and final evolutions(non series 1 energheia)? If they're jumping straight into the cartoon then the us will probably follow suit making those 2 lines even harder to find right?

I was wondering the same thing but it does make you wonder since GB went about it differently by releasing series two and the atomic series as two seperate lines while the US has done it at the same time in double packs so I would like to think that they wouldn't and just keep doing it the same way they are now.

But another part of me thinks that the US may do it the same way as GB with skipping over all the other lines if these don't really catch on because of the lack of a video game property or a television show that they can commercially promote. Also since it is much cheaper to bring over an animated show from another country than to make a completely new series from scratch I'm guessing they will just import the Italian cartoon and use these figures.

Skipping the storyline straight to the cartoon has its other advantages. You don't have to go through the hassle of explaining how Air shifts from good to evil to good again, there are fewer characters to introduce (and the cartoon ignores or replaces most of them anyway), and certain concepts and characters remain more unique. What do I mean by that? Well, look at Final Evolution, then Elemental Fusion. Or the reintroduction of Light and Darkness into Age of the Supreme Eclipse. If you have the opportunity to go through the same storyline twice, or skip ahead but still do new identical things, why not skip ahead? I for one welcome our new Cartoon Gormiti masters.

As for the online store carrying UK Series 4, I'd have to say no. I don't want Jon getting stuck with a bunch of these that don't sell due to price or disinterest, especially if a US release of the cartoon stuff is likely. If he can order stuff from the supplier later if serious demand appears, I'd rather he wait for that.

Is there any way to do a special order per person? I would buy them no matter what happens mostly because of the playsets and the mounts are the things that I want most.
