These aren't LRGs, but I know how some of you guys like your dinosaurs! (Myself included). I was looking up stuff on the new movie and the I. Rex and came across a line of JP toys I've never heard of! Chaos Effect is a series of dinos with crossed DNA, and some of them look pretty damn cool.

Whoa! Totally forgot about the baby dinos that came with some of the people. Here is a nice dino LRG!

Those are cool... now with the new movie coming out I assume we will get figures with their DNA spliced with humans!!

(that is one of the plot lines right?  Or am I not remembering that correctly...)

Hell yeah those are pretty neat! Ive got some of the original toys from the first films, and those dont quite ad up with their coolness(not LOVING the dna mix shit but hell, thats what JP is about dna cloning dinosaurs )... Damn still almost burns me that i never found the spinosaurus model, still the Velociraptors and the baby Rex especially were awesome! :D

Also nice that they continued the series after a hellishly long planning :p

None of the old actors made it to the final version though?

Well, Hammond is dead, (both his character and his actor).

Ian Malcolm and Dr. Grant very likely want nothing to do with the new theme park.

And apparently Dr. Wu is working on the island.

Who else of any importance is left that hasn't died?

I never heard that theory before, PF, but I did hear an early script was the dinos wielding weaponry like lasers for the military.

Actually it turns out this was an early draft of a script...

One of the greatest toy tragedies of the late, great Kenner was that Ultimasaurus was never able to get a retail release. Only a few prototypes and test shots of the mold are out there.

Good night, sweet prince.

It's weird. I knew about the Chaos Effect line forever, since it was first teased in a VHS insert for The Lost World, I was around when it was new, I adore the concept, but I've never really bought into the line. It's not like they're super-expensive dinosaurs either and the new sculpts are nearly all winners. I think the only things I don't like are the tiny size for the Amargospinus and that Paradeinonychus will forever have a dino-damaged tail.
