Okay, I've seen these before, but never this many...usually onesie-twosie figures. I managed to wrangle fifteen of 'em! Basically they are little vinyl monsters. Each around two inches tall or wide with their name on their underside or back along with a manufacturer's insignia...a letter "i" and "k" fused, it seems. Any help on a name, packaging style (if any), or word on if there were more made?

Cerebus, Gorgon (is she "heiling"?!), Dragon, and Chimera

Posted Image
Basilisk, Ahuizotl (an obscure one...a dog with a "hand tail"), Harpy, and Minotaur

Kraken, Roc, Hydra, and Sphinx

Posted Image
Leviathan, Chupacabra, and Cyclops (complete with fleshy turtleneck?)

Oh, and here's a hopefully visible shot of the manufacturer mark...no year, though.

Any help?

I purchased some of these for my son from Barnes and Nobles with a mythology book. I think it was a 12 pack.

Actually just found out what these were before I checked back here...they are indeed from a book series called Groovy Tubes or something like that...a book with a tube of toys attached to the spine. Was pointed in the direction of Amazon...saw the monsters, but their pics don't give you a good spread. I wanna know how many monsters got made...I'll either hafta do more research or maybe visit the bookstore.

The "i-k" logo means Innovative Kids or something...there you go!
