Coelocanth got back to me on that aspect, so there are repros out there. They aren't at all in their natural colours though.

Oh, absolutely. If you wanted to have one made, it's not that hard.
The "saving pennies" thing was in reference to January's end-of-the-month drama schmozz.

Well, according to some, you need to just "save up your pennies", and not pander to the hordes of dirty thieving bootleggers.

That's a sucker's choice! Why save up or settle for bootleg toys over a piece of toy history when you can just bootleg the money instead and buy the originals? :joecool:

While we are on the topic, what would it cost to repro some of the higher end LBs? I know for a fact, regardless of my financial situation in life, I will *never* get the higher-end LBs simply because I can't agree with $300+ price tag for a tiny toy. (Or any toy for that matter.)

That being said, I still love the figures and would love to own them. I don't know if anything can be done in that regard though.

Even the reproductions will set you back $100+.
So the originals are still your best bet. You should be able to secure most of them for $100-$200.

No, they won't. Only if you get them from someone charging a crazy price for a repro. If someone like Eric can make a repro gumball for $20 then he can just as easily do the same for a custom laser as well for not much more than that. You can even repro the orbs with a transparent sticker on the back, too.

Yeah i sell my figures at a prices that reflects how much rubber it takes and how complicated the mold is. I dont charge depending on how rare the figures are like some others do. Thats just taking advantage of a situation instead of helping those who wants something cool.

Dang i must be missing out on a lot of money if im only charging $20 for Gumball beast. My next release will be $65 + $25 shipping. :woot:

To be 100% honest I wouldn't even care about the orbs. It wouldn't be an original piece so I would expect it not to have original parts. Especially if it made it cheaper. I just like the looks of some of the higher end Lasers like Skull Grotess and Buster, but again I doubt I'll ever feel the need to drop that kind of cash on a toy.

If you ever get into makin' some decently priced LB repros Eric, let me know!

I stated that price based on what I have heard others say they paid along with complete listings on Ebay for $80+ for unpainted reproductions.
These are Top quality TGB reproductions.

Otherwise I have not seen any other LB reproductions for sale.

These are decent quality TGB reproductions made of cheap resin, and overly priced.

You would know better then I Eric on material quality, as the reproductions were too expensive for my taste unlike your releases that are more the fair.

Marty's work was always top notch, but so were his prices. Personally, I don't care for the hard plastic stuff, I prefer hard rubber. I've got a rubber Grotess and a rubber p91 Satan Cross and those two figures rock! But I've also had a ton of the hard urethane figure and they just don't interest me.

As far as cheap Lasers, if someone can send an original (or three) to Eric, I'm sure he can get them done up for a killer price.

That's a great idea, and very tempting.. Eric, you keen bro? Although I'd have to buy them first, I do wanna see this happen!
Peeved I missed out on the BB Gumball Carp.
With the LB orbs, what about substituting em for small marbles? I'm sure there would be some in the right size somewhere for sale.

I'm still hoping for a gumball Triple Threat Snake. I'd love to see casts of laser beasts as well. More than just trying to make a reproduction, I am more interested in seeing them in different colors. A skull grotess in orange/red would be pretty sweet. A Blue Eagle in white or dark brown would be pretty sweet.

Eric's butt is a pressure pot...didn't you know???

That's why all his toys have that "personal" touch.

Even more impressed with this guy after getting him in-hand.That orange is practically neon and the blue is the same color as those gummy sharks you see at gas stations so I have to remind myself he is not edible

Excellent craftsmanship dude!
