As most of you know... the official name of The cartoon will be "Ultimate MUSCLE" The kinnikuman legacy. With Kinnikuman being the smallest part of the title name, I wouldn't be surprised if it's eventually dropped from the title, but then again... you never know. The official URL will be: http://www.foxbox.tv/muscle_p.html It launches the same day the cartoon does. You can currently sign up for e-mail news pertaining to the site, and you can "supposedly" get different info before anyone else does. Looks like Alexandria meat will be simply known as "MEAT" and Mantaro will be "KID MUSCLE" Terry the kid will be called Terry Kenyon. I know... it sounds kinda lame, but you've gotta remember that they're gearing this towards kids. oh yeah... Kid MUSCLE's secret move..... "The Butt Buster".

Also, they're not toning it down too much either. I got the FoxBox today from TRU, and the quiz is asking how Kin will fly, and 2 of the answers contain "farting".

Oh my god! I just saw the foxbox previews and heard the theme song. All I can say is "What the eff!" The only thing that seems to coincide with KG2 is that Mantaro is a wuss and he farts alot. The music is TERRIBLE (not Terri-Bull). The story seems really LAME! If anyone over 6 like it, I will be surprised.

Now realize that this is based on the cartoon preview and the theme song, along with 3 bios and a compact storyline summary. All that was included in the Fox Box.

I hope they prove me wrong, and this is actually enjoyable, being that we've waited SOOOO Long!

On a positive note, we should see a HUGE toyline coming, as I'm sure the kiddies will eat this up. Especially with a wrestler who farts all the time.

Oh, and the DMP, looks suspiciosly like the NWO.

Hey, did you guys see the blurb about new a Ninja Turtles cartoon? Why can't they just let the classics rest in peace?

You know, looking at the fox box site again, I realized that NONE of the new cartoons are original. They're all either remakes of an existing story, or japanese cartoons. What happened to good old fashioned american cartoons? Like He-Man, the old Ninja Turtles, GI Joe, etc.?

I think it's great that they're making a new Ninja Turtles cartoon. Hopefully they'll stay a bit closer to the comic book this time. Then again, I'm not sure how close you can make it to the comic, given its violence.

There was talk of making this cartoon computer generated, but I heard that they nixed that in favor of traditional animation. I think that CG was the next natural step for the turtles, and would have made it seem fresh to the kids. I'm not sure if kids will be all that interested in yet another TMNT cartoon.

Okay, okay, I was wrong.........

I just saw "What's inside the Fox Box, and I have to say. Ultimate Muscle is going to ROCK!
Sure, the storyline is kind of hokey, and the theme song is downright terrible. And Meat (niku) now sounds like Danny Devito on steroids, instead of his usual salor moon, kindergarten girl sounding self. But the animation is AWESOME! The action is INTENSE! And the baddies, well they're just BAD!

So yes, I was wrong. It looks like the American rendering of our beloved Kinnikuman will be quite dope!

I know where I'll be Saturday mornings, from 9:30 to 11:00. Inside the Fox Box!

Heh, glad you liked the picture at the bottom of my post Nate! Go ahead and use it however you like! Well.... me and my kid watched the Fox Box special. It looks like they're taking the series from Japan and straight dubbing it! What shocked me, is seeing it so many times in Japanese, and now hearing the new voices and music!!! Did you hear Niku/Meat's voice? He Sounds like a gruff old man! Kinda like Rocky's trainer! In the Japanese version, he has a little "cutesy" voice. I guess "Kid MUSCLE's voice isn't too bad. I was surprised to see the farting scene uncut. The censors must be lightening up! I was dissapointed to see that they didn't mention "Kinnikuman" once in the description, but maybe that will soon come as they'll have to talk about Kinniku-history etc. Can't wait to see it!

I always thought that Meat's voice would be sorta gruff. Guess they were thinkin the same thing.
