Looks like you guys beat me to posting the news on here (that's what happens when you get old and need a nap after a long days work!)  I don't come around here as much as i'd like to but still love what brought me here in the first place!

I'm super excited for you Mark and kudos to the entire MWOTR team for this great achievement of going to production in china w/ the help of TGB and Matt Doughty @ Onell Design.

Those orange prototypes are really sweet and i'm sad to not be able to own a set to go w/ my MWOTR collection.

=)

Yeah the orange color is pretty sweet, is really orange and the thinner parts are almost yellow so even though its a standard color it gives off the appearance of almost a color change.

I have been playing with the test shots for awhile, PVC does have is advantages ;) (and yes Widowmakers leg is actually locked in between Sheldon's , if you were to lift one the other would come with it)

Makes so much more sense to be made in PVC, that's neat.

Yeah... I can honestly say that I would be much more likely to invest in PVC toys that I can play with my kids with. Good call.

Congrats!

I'm looking forward to the regular issue set.

Out of curiosity, how well did the detail carry over between the 3d print and the PVC tests?

Congrats!

I'm looking forward to the regular issue set.

Out of curiosity, how well did the detail carry over between the 3d print and the PVC tests?

Its all there for the most part, some of the tiny details had to be deepened/exagerrated by hand on the masters (by Matt/Adam/Josh/Marty) and Matt Doughty worked to remove what print lines there were on the Gorilla's stomach for example.

When you hold them in your hands the amount of detailing is insane, that was probably the #1 comment we got from those who have seen the test shots in person (the 4H, the guys at Spy Monkey, etc). The work that Paul Wai and his crew at the Onell Factory was top notch, I think people are going to be really happy with the final product.

received my sheldon sabre pvc test shot and he is awesome! Tons of detail just like the other figures in the line cast in urethane. One difference is hes got really nice flexibility so you can really get him in some good wrestling poses! I think the pvc is a great addition to this line. I cant wait for true cast studios to get these in the store!!!

here is the pvc figure paired up with the other figures in the line. In case anyone was wondering about the size of the pvc figure. As you can see he scaled perfect to the figures done in the urethane.

I took a quick pic to show how close our Red matches the original MUSCLE Red. Its not exact as ours has a shine and is the tiniest bit brighter but overall it fits in well.

And I decided to take a pic of an all out brawl with both colors

Yup they are on sale now, after doing online sales for over 13 years I think I have kept back a decent stock for online sales. So hopefully anyone who wants one can get one, we are trying to establish a baseline since this line is obviously catering to a wider audience then the $25 urethane line does.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who comes out for the sale today, if the PVC does well we have some insanely cool figures planned for 2014 ;)
