This little dude was picked up in France sometime around 1999/2000, back of the card is blank. Not sure if it's a bootleg, I just want to know if he's part of a Japanese toy line or something! I cannot find anything online regarding the name so I assume it was originally called something else. TRONC is 'trunk' in French btw.

The shooting marble gimmick is reminiscent of the Battle B Daman toy line from around that time. Probably bootlegged the chest piece but the limbs and head look like they might be from another line.

You might be onto something. I think the toy's older than Battle, but B-Daman has been around for a while and there were Bomberman figures that shot out marbles from their bellies too.

"Tronc" means torso in french. Or trunk as in "tree trunk"
