I told that guy a lot of things I knew about mimps through collecting when I was a kid, and he never thanked me for it. Probably because he didn't know them and wasn't impressed about it lol

Is that just because of the demand though, alot of collectors from here seem to love that sculpt.

i'm not sure it's only that, because it's one of the last needs for most of the full set collectors.

Trouble is with NY figures is they stain easy and with the demand of the higher point sculpts and the rarity of the NY ones makes finding them for a decent price impossible.

So guys, it's been over a year now since Fede came up with the above list for series 1 figures. Does anybody think that the events of that year have moved certain figures into stronger or even weaker positions on the list? Have some of these figures popped up more of late, or have some become even more scarce?

From my point of view, I've been back into MIMP collecting since April '12 (not long after this list was made) and I can only recall one NG Jotun Troll showing up on ebay (UK) with a buy it now of £50. I've only recently started scouring France, so may have missed some that were on there in that time. Also, I can't even recall seeing a NG Gremlin at any point during my time collecting! In contrast to this, I'd never seen a NG Red Cap out in the wild in all that time, yet I now own two of them, so I suppose it just goes to show what can crop up. As I'm now down to my last 18 neons for a full set of192, I need to start considering which figures are going to cause me the most trouble in terms of picking up.

Hello again !

My second post on here...

I recently got over 150 blisters of MIMP series 1, the neon figures ! So, all are in good shape obviously...

I didn't open them all yet, but I count 66 figures... (One Roc that isn't from the same blisters, so not a NY, just Y)

Check them out... It seems I got 3 NG Red Cape (lol !! ) and 2 NY Hobgoblin (as some said was hard to get previously ^^)

I hesitated about opening all the blisters since it's very rare to find them in blisters by now... But well, I'm tempted to see what I got though !

In fact, using a torch, I can see most of them, but not sure about the actual color all the time...

Very nice collection indeed. You're lucky in that a lot of the rare neons are much more common in France.

Thank you both for the feedbacks !

And yes, seems like it was more common around here around 1991/1992... This isn't my entire collection btw, I have those I got 20 years ago when younger still, and few I got here and there these recent years.

Will take pics eventually of the rest !

I had no idea some of those neon colours of series 1 were that hard to find... Well, I'm looking for the series 3, so, might eventually like trade few neons for 1 of series 3. But that's just an idea anyway. For now, I just don't plan on selling/trading these yet. (I just got them so, give me time  :db:  )

Will unpack some more I have still in blisters, or at least try to check which figures are inside and try to guess the colours. (Lol, actually kinda fun to do)

Btw, was wondering, to you guys, which colours are Cocatrice and Werewolf there ??  :unknw:

Werewolf looks like the Light Orange premium color and the Cockatrice the Neon Red.

Oh, ok, thank you for the answers !

I was really doubting for these two and was wondering if these weren't rarer, but you prob right about them. Now, how many cost a Premium Neon Orange Werewolf ? Any idea ?

I also opened few more blisters, with some cool double, if not triple now ! (Two more NY T-Rex for instance !)

I will make a list of these soon so you all can see which I might end up selling/trading !

I am interested in the Neon Yellow Hobgoblin if you decide to sell it ;)

At any rate, I don't really watch the rates on the Werewolves, but I would guess between $20-30. I see him on Ebay once a month or so.

The shades of neon MIMP used are the best mono mini fig colors.

Little question :

Which is the "Cyan Cyclop" exactly ?... I mean, in which collection is it ?

http://www.monsterco.../1-premium.html

Do you mean the "Neon Blue" Premium ?

Or is it in the Mexican figures ?

Hi guys, just found this site and it's awesome!  I was wondering how rare is a neon pink werewolf?  I've recently discovered my old figures and I can't seem to find anything about this figure.  Also, I noticed that some of you have been saying that the green Hydra is rare as well.  I have one Hydra and it's a lighter green.  Is that the one you've been discussing?  Let me know :db:

Pink werewolf is a promo that isn't that rare but still worth some money (not sure of current prices but I used to see them for $20). Light green Hydra is common, Pine Green Hydra is super mega callifragilistic rare.
