Hi all!!
I wanna share with you the amazing set of samples I bought from the Original sculptor of the 90's MIMPs, Rich Roland that I also involved in the Missing 15 MIMPS Project to finally produce and cast the missing Monsters from the third series.
The pieces I'm going to show you are 5/6 Hand-Sculpted Wax Models in higher scale (Redcap Sculpt is still in his hands for a repair to the knife)
Then I have to show you the Painted Resin Prototypes that were used to take shots to put on the check-list label and Volcano pictures in the commercial images of packaging.
There are 3 figures that are decidedly different from the final rubber figures and are:
-Triton with his small trident that appers in the checklist picture.
-The Green Catoblepas that have the front legs longer than the normal rubber figure (as you can see by the picture the Purple one has not the same odd).
-Cyclops definitely a different sculpt comparing with the final used for the rubber release.
All other prototypes seem to be a bit larger of the respective made of rubber and they don't have any points value on their backs.
I hope you all enjoy these unique pieces that are part of the MIMPs history now.

I always found it interesting how the Wendigo did not match the monster's original descriptions, but looks just like the horrifying Wendigo-face in Stephen King's Pet Sematary.
