Point out to me where one individual in this thread said they would
take this website off my hands?

PM me. I might be interested.

PlasticSoul - For a guy that has been a member of this website for a few
weeks you have a strong opinion. Why are you so quick to try and hang me
in the end? Is MIMP your main toyline? Did you use the website?

After sleeping on it and speaking to General Veers the website will return
this coming week. I will take responsibility for making the current updates,
uploading all the files etc.

Yesterday was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster and I apologize for some
shortness in my messages while my patience was stretched rather thin. But from
the hours spent just fleshing this thing out it became clear to me I still have
a passion for this toyline and perhaps I shouldn't cut my nose off to spite
my face.

I now am content having General Veers aid me if problems occur and I am unable
to continue maintaining the website. For the very near future I will still
control the website but take a back seat to collecting. I really just need
some time-out and completely understand the website doesn't need 24/7 handling.

I was very glad to hear from those here that you appreciate it and hope you
continue to find it a useful resource.

Hey Darryl,
I'm really glad you've reconsidered and will be putting the site back up.
I want to second I think, regardless of what negativity mimp collecting and you're great site could possibly create (very little I imagine, these people are only a minority and found in all communities) I believe your site makes MUCH more of a positive impact on collectors!
It really opened my eyes... I never knew the figures were available in half those colours! Let alone have a clue about premiums or imports.
Thank you for providing such an awesome resource for us all.

And cheers General Veers for your part on making this happen.

I have known and traded with Darryl for over 4 years and have always found him to be a trustworthy, honest and helpful person. We have discuseed mimps at length and i enjoy his passion for mimps is the same as mine.

As for Darren i cannot say anything bad as i have never traded with him, but he has always been friendly to me.

I'm sad to see all these strange and untoward happenings in the MIMP community and hope that more communication is taken to stop things escalating in the future. If you make a deal and you both agree and are happy - stick to it!

Yes they are small plastic toys but they also bring great joy in collecting. Collecting is just one small part of MIMPs, but its the people that make it the most fun. Think how boring it would be collecting on your own with no-one else to talk to about them. I remember the days before LRG lol - i felt very bored.

I'm really please that Darryl has decided to stick around, keep collecting and working on the site in whatever capacity. Id also like to say thanks to General veers for looking into it. I myself have no skills with internety things but will happily help in anyway i can.

After skimming through these posts, and I hope I am not misinterpreting some of these posts but it seems to me some of you are able to differentiate? sort of speak whos who on ebay. Now I just entered MIMP collecting about a month ago or so as my second flesh set of muscles is in its final stages and as I am not up to going after the rarer MIMP figures at this moment I am however curious as to how..if possible I guess it is to tell whos who..is it just going by the feedback #? I have been steering away from a couple auctions due to higher bidder numbers. I respect the fact there are collectors that have been collecting for awhile, and are only after certain figures, and I am not about to "snipe" the auction sort of speak from them, take for example the Blemmyea up at the moment...it has peaked my interest, but I will not be 'participating' in the auction. I know the time will come, and will be unavoidable at times but at the moment, I'm sticking to the bigger lots. I am just sort of curious, I realize I am not that active on here or other forums, and my job prevents me from doing so...but over my 10+ years of collecting I have realized one thing, and that is to have respect for other collectors.

Edit - As far as the website in mention...I look forward to viewing it when it is back up

Some people just know who is who by accident - be it buying or selling from them and seeing their feedback, others have said 'i won this' and people look at the abbreviated ebay name and remember it. I've worked out one or two by location and also know some by them saying to me. Either way after a while you notice things be it on here or just in feedback I guess.

Thanks again.

The website is been uploading, it isn't completely up yet as my upload
keeps timing out. Expect everything by the end of the day. The figure
updates will be made on the weekend.

Post #79 is so popular (+13) it got a gold star!

Shame about keeptalk though, I can only imagine he's not a fan of Monster Collecting? In which case, the little shit will hopefully not mind if we ignore any queries he has in future about MIMP.

I viewed the website for the first time this morning before I went to work - It has just made want to keep collecting MIMP even more and has almost turned the clock back to how I was 20 years ago when I first collected and played with these fantastic little monsters! Keep it up!
